Great stay. This is a wonderful location!!!! We could sit on porch and look at vineyard. We also visited the vineyard and downtown Mt. Airy. The grounds at the house is spectacular with views and a pond behind with horses. Also great bed. It was truly a magical trip for me and my husband.

You always wonder if the place you are renting lives up to its billing on the website - this gem delivers exceptional value at every turn. Quiet, scenic (the pond is beautiful and the cornfield across the street looks like Field of Dreams). Clean. Well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Great WiFi and cable TV. Right around the corner from Shelton and easy drives to Mt. Airy and Elkin. Just can't say enough good things about the place. Book it, you won't be sorry.

Great weekend getaway

The house was clean and inviting. Centrally located to the wineries we visited and we had everything we needed. Beautiful setting and we really enjoyed it. We are planning to come back next year.

Four of us went on the Wine Trail experience and looked for a home to relax afterwards. This house was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly night, the sun porch fir morning coffee and looking at the beautiful land that surrounded us. We hope to come back!

Feels like home!

After a long day of wine tasting our way through Surry County, this was the perfect place to come home to! If you wanted to eat in, everything is here including a grill. If you chose to go out so very good restaurants are within 15 minutes. The owners have not forgotten anything to make your stay perfect. Forget about staying in some chain hotel. The charm & comfort here can't be beat!

Girl’s Wine Trip

This property and house was perfect for our annual fall trip. We enjoyed a nice morning walk on the quiet country road, the bathrooms were spacious and the kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Great location to Mt Airy and lots of vineyards. Cody Creek was closer than we imagined and worth every penny. I highly recommend this home and hope to return in the spring.

Our stay was very nice and peaceful. Everything was supplied by owner. We literally only had to bring our clothes. The house was a little closer to the road than I thought but road is pretty private so not much traffic. Would rent again.

This picturesque location is amazing!!! The pictures do not do the property justice! The home was immaculate. So warming and inviting from the moment you pull in the driveway. Sitting on the front porch drinking our morning coffee was our favorite activity. We also enjoyed fishing in the pond. The owners were extremely helpful quickly answering any questions we had. We can’t wait to visit again. Definitely a 5 Star Home!

Perfect Easter getaway

We stayed at this precious home for Easter with our three young boys. We had the BEST time! This home is impeccably clean and so well appointed. Anything that we needed, it was there! Want to go fishing in the pond? Check the garage for fishing poles. Need a robe for after the hot tub? Check the laundry room. Want to start a fire pit? All supplies provided. It should be said again, this home was incredibly clean and neat. Thankful for this little piece of heaven away from home! We’ll be back!

A Relaxing Oasis

My friends and I have stayed at this house four times now, so I think that speaks volumes in and of itself. This house never disappoints-it's always super clean, contains the comforts of home away from home (comfortable beds, furniture, etc.) It's furnished with all you need, and the porch is a nice place to sit and visit with friends. It's conveniently located with wineries, restaurants, and shopping close by. We will return again.

Wonderful stay at Serenity on the hill!

We had a wonderful time staying here for a weekend getaway. It is situated in a beautiful location with views of Shelton winery across the street. The house is very clean and exactly as listed.
