Glasses were not clean , neither the bathrooms and towels. Grass in backyard long time without cutting. Communication was very good though.

Needs some TLC...

The house is okay for a quick overnight stay but could use some improvements.- communcation: Per VRBO policy, host should notify guest of check-in instructions 72 hours before check in, however this did not happen. I had to contact the host multiple times, and finally the day before he said he would send instructions the morning of. Come the morning of, I still had to email him to get instructions sent. No detailed instructions including WiFi. Had to chase down the instructions, which made us feel very uneasy and wonder whether we could successfully check in once we arrived. - Bathroom counter and towels didn't look very clean. Doesn't look like the home is professionally cleaned. - Several of the blinds including the sliding door and window blinds were defective or not working properly. They really should be replaced.- It does have a pool table, record player, some games, and a jacuzzi in the backyard, which we did not use. There's some cruiser bikes in the backyard, I assume for guest use, but we did not use. Backyard is clean.- Kitchen looks fully stocked with utensils and Keurig, but we did not use.There's a for sale sign on the lawn, so it appears that maybe the home may have recently been sold or is going through a sale, perhaps explains the lacking in service. When I originally booked it, it had mostly ratings of 9's and 10's. Just days before check-in, those ratings were all gone, and only 1 6-star rating.
