Amazing home! We had a group of 5 and we all comfortably had our own room and bed. The bathrooms are nice and modern, the home was clean when we arrived, check in was super easy and the host was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this home, there are shops near by and just a short drive to the Shedd aquarium!

There were lots of dust bunnies under the beds, and on arrival all the windows and back door were unlocked. We were a group of all ladies, so this made us a little nervous. The house is cute though and beds overall comfortable too. Basement was extremely cold, but a few people liked it cooler for sleeping.

We had a lovely stay in Homewood for our class reunion. I had a small lip getting the door open initially, but the host gave us an apology bottle of wine which more than made up for it.

House was clean, I left the house with my nieces in there so I could go check on my baby, 2 of them went outside to have a smoke, another niece came late and the police was called saying we was having a party. When I got back there, there was no party but the girls did have music going and they was playing music, instead of the host just asking us to quiet down, she asked us to leave immediately. We left when was asked to and her place was how she left it except the refrigerator and stove had a few stains because I didn’t have time to clean it out.

The appliances were beautiful and clean. The house seemed very modern for being over 100 years old. My kids stayed in the basement bedrooms and found a bunch of tiny bugs. I would just recommend more towels, toilet paper and kitchen supplies (soap, sponges etc).

The house was more than I expected a spacious backyard, roomy drive way and kitchen. It was perfect for my overnight stay near Chicago. Loved the neighborhood it was quiet and I felt safe. Store and gas were nearby and easily accessible just as the highway. I traveled with a group and we were each comfortable, it felt like home.
