Unsafe and VERY Concerning Stay
I stayed here with a friend — two women traveling together. While the host was initially responsive, things took a serious turn that made us feel incredibly unsafe.My friend briefly left her luggage just outside the apartment door while dropping off other bags. Within moments, it was gone. We immediately contacted the host to report the issue, but she was dismissive. Instead of helping, she claimed the message was not intended for her and suggested we were simply mistaken or had left it at a different hotel.Desperate to find the missing suitcase, we started knocking on doors throughout the building. After over seven minutes, a man finally opened the door to the apartment directly next to ours. He was clearly using some serious drugs — and behind him was our missing luggage. We were able to run in and grab it and run back into the apartment. It was one of the scariest moments of our lives. It was terrifying to realize that someone living next door had taken the bag and could have been stalking us in the apartment. When I emailed the host what had happened, she literally NEVER ANSWERED BACK.I would absolutely not recommend staying at this location. It is unsafe, and the host failed to take our concerns seriously. For your safety and peace of mind, find somewhere else to stay.
