What a thoughtfully curated VRBO! We loved it! We only wished we had more time and better weather to explore the property. It is exactly as advertised. And honestly may have won the cleanest VRBO I've staying in to date.

I am super picky about having a clean rental. I usually spend a couple of hours cleaning before I actually settle in. I didn’t have to do that here. The home was impeccably clean. The floors, bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, the hot tub, and the grounds were spotless.Judy was very easy to contact and communicate with. Overall, the farmhouse is a wonderful place for a getaway.

Hi Michael, thank you so much for your thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to hear, especially from someone who values cleanliness as much as you do. We work hard to make sure every guest arrives to a spotless home, so knowing you felt comfortable settling in right away is one of the greatest compliments we could receive. Thank you as well for your kind words about my communication. It was a pleasure hosting you, and guests like you are what make this so rewarding. We’re always making thoughtful improvements to Oak Spring Farms to keep it peaceful, beautiful, and an even better place to relax. Our next big project is remodeling the barn, so we hope you’ll come back and experience all the new updates. We’d love to welcome you again!

Authentic comfort

Amazing place to relax for family and furbabies. So much to do and explore, but also plenty of space to find peace alone for a bit. The beds are comfy, and the renovation is classy. We'll be back!

Adorable farmhouse

This property is super cute, with adorable touches throughout to make the stay comfortable. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short, but the hosts were very kind and quick to respond when we ran into an issue. We will definitely book again in the future and can hopefully stay longer!

This property is OUTSTANDING. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I honestly didn't want to leave. From the very start, I felt very welcome and could tell our dog was equally welcome. The home is beautiful and the attention to detail was obvious. The bed, linens, and towels were high end. We look forward to visiting again.

This beautiful farmhouse is so charming, and they have thought of everything! Druving in is like driving into a Hallmark movie in the snow with it decorated with wreaths on the windows for Christmas! So beautiful! But when you walk inside, it’s even more charming and welcoming! Our two labradors loved playing outside in the snow in their new home away from home! It was one of the best Vrbos we have ever stayed in as a family ! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to get away in such a beautiful place as Bellville, Ohio!

Sister's Getaway

Wonderful Host and a beautiful property! Super clean house with excellent set up has everything you need. Great mattresses and luxury bed linens, like sleeping on a cloud. Providing robes to use was a nice touch. We used them more that we thought we would. Hot tub was very clean! Host was available for any questions we had. We'll be back next year!

Girls Weekend

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and property with us. This was supposed to be a weekend away for sisters and nieces to relax and catchup. Instead it turned into an amazing adventure enhanced by nature and the so welcoming "at home" feeling of the accommodations. The kitchen table and porch rockers saw more laughter, tears from laughter, and deeper family bonding than we imagined. A return visit is already being discussed!!

We looked for hours trying to find a place that was perfect for us and our French Bulldog. Since the National Doll Show was in Newark, we had many places to look thru…And I found it: here! And, it was even better in person!A restored farmhouse done with class. And EVERY possible necessity was met..We were so very pleased! Quiet & peaceful. Sweet little touches such as handmade s’mores & popcorn machine, robes…Even the Frenchie was spoiled with toys & bedding. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day and the fire pit with supplied wood, was relaxing as well. I would RECOMMEND this to anyone for a place to stay…It was PERFECT and beyond our expectations. The best place we have ever stayed! To the owner’s…Thank you.

The place was amazing, the retro theme was very cool. The place was clean and comfortable and had a lot of great things. The grounds were very nice with a great hot tub and sauna and fire pit. The old barn was very cool. Lot of area for the grandkids to run and enjoy. A lot of trees for shade that made it very comfortable to sit on the porch and relax in the quiet country. The dark sky's brought out the stars and planets to see very clearly.Only a couple negatives that I told the owners about that I'm sure they will take care of. I was told it was a fishing pond with bass, there were only 2 fish a 2 turtles in that pond, no bass. So that was disappointing to the grandkids. The popcorn machine didn't pop but a few cornals, they were disappointed in that as well. The grass needed to be cut, it was very high and hard to walk and it would have made the place more impressive looking in my opinion. I would stay again if the pond gets stocked and the grass cut before I arrive.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for highlighting so many of the things you enjoyed about the property, from the farmhouse and historic barn to the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and peaceful country setting. We appreciate your feedback regarding the pond, popcorn machine, and grass. The pond is a natural spring-fed pond and, as with any fishing experience, fish activity can vary from day to day. Regarding the grass, we experienced an unusually rainy stretch leading up to your stay, and mowing wet ground can damage both the lawn and equipment, so we waited until conditions improved before cutting. Thank you again for your stay. We’re glad to hear you would consider returning, and we would be happy to host you again in the future.
