Areas to Improve, so I can end on positive highlights: --Neither the front yard nor back yard were mowed. While the 'wilderness meadows' affect was pretty, the grass was far too deep for running or playing in, so that was limiting-Even though the property description was accurate, the reasonable outfitted kitchen lacked a can opener, which was soul-crushing when I went to make dinner at the end of a long day of touristing. Luckily, the neighbor was wonderful and let us borrow one to open our single can of chili. Also, and this may be my error, but it took me two days to find the cutting board, tucked against the wall of an upper cabinet, partially hidden by a moulding lip lol-Even though the house lists that it sleeps 8 (and it does have 4x queen beds), everything in the kitchen and dining room is equipped with FOUR people in mind. We had a party of 5 and that made meal logistics complicated-but-doable with some creative thinking, but feeding 8 at once would be extremely challenging -Throughour the house there is minor damage, i.e., radiant baseboard heaters missing their protective covers, some windows missing screens (which made keeping the upstairs cool impossible, no ac and unable to open correct windows to create a cross breeze without also letting in every mosquito), some sharp knives are badly knicked to the point of not being functional, some faint staining on cupboard faces and bathroom sinksUnexpectly Nice Highlights: small assortment of non-perishables and cond
