Clean, cozy, county!

We had a great stay! This house has great detail and very homey stay if you want a little get away right outside of Dallas. The host are very accommodating! We’d definitely stay again. Heck I’d love to build the same Modern barndo on my property for a guest house!

Great place and fantastic hosts!

This is a wonderful house with a beautiful view and everything you need, including a fun LED-lit loft that the kids loved. The kids got to feed calves and see other animals. As great as the place is, the hosts were even better. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly were perfect hosts! I highly recommend staying here!

This sweet and cozy barndo exceeded all expectations! Mindy was incredibly communicative and kind, making sure we felt right at home throughout our stay. A highlight was being able to feed the cows on the property—it added such a unique and fun touch to our experience! The location is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the city, yet it's only a quick 15-minute drive to downtown. My friends and I will be booking for next year's Texas-OU game and highly recommend it to everyone!

Loved the Barndo.

The Barndo was perfect. Not to big, not to small. The decor was homey. Wife took pictures ao she can update our house. Owner was very communicative. Offered local restaurants and activities. Even offered for our 4 yo to feed their cows. The Barndo is definitely a great place to stay and a great value for it.

Beautiful, cozy, and unique!

Our stay at the barndo was absolutely perfect! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel right at home. The lay out of the barndo and the upscale farmhouse decor provided a cozy and modern touch. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens felt luxurious. We had plenty of room for our family of 4, kids ages 12 and 21, and they each enjoyed having their own space. The absolute favorite part of our stay was seeing the baby calves and watching them run around with the zoomies. This stay was a great experience and we look forward to staying there again in the future!! These hosts are doing it right!

Didn't want to leave!

It is hard to be as comfortable traveling as you are at home, but we truly were so comfortable at Mindy's adorable brandominum. The property is close to a few food/gas options (starbucks, BK, Chick Fil A, and a QT, to name a few), but far enough out that it's super peaceful. The brandominum is the perfect size and so well thought out. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. We enjoyed playing some of the games that were available and loved looking at the cows! It was truly the perfect place for us to relax! We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in the area! Thanks so much, Mindy, for sharing your beautiful barndo!

Quiet, Clean, Relaxing spot east of the Metro

My family just returned from a great stay at the Barndo. It was a great spot for us to connect with our family in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale/Forney area, but still have our own, quiet place to relax and get away. The home was inviting with a comfy couch and lots of light from the huge windows. It was super clean, and well supplied with everything needed for a home away from home: coffee gear, all the necessary kitchen things, towels, extra bedding. The large king bed was so comfortable, and provided some of the best sleep we've had in months! We had plenty of space for mom, dad, grandma, and 2 young kids. As expected the loft was a bit too exciting for the kids but still manageable. A few cows, calves, and farm dogs in the pasture out the window add to the experience, completing the rural vibe. We can totally recommend the Barndo to anyone traveling in the area.

Close to everything! Away from it all! Not too big. Not too small.
Picturesque setting, partially wooded creek lot. Country living just 15 minutes from downtown. All in a beautiful park-like setting. The tranquility is priceless.

What makes this property unique

The property sits on 5.5 acres. There is a country feel with cows in the pasture (right outside the window) and hundreds of beautiful mature trees.
