Cozy Beach House in front of the ocean with a private outdoor pool!

Swim, fish, or just kickback and lay on the beach, or by the pool. If you like relaxation and adventure, you are in the right place. Walk on the beach, always beautiful and watch the fisherman come in with their catch of the day The caretaker will have a suggestion which one to buy fresh caught fish from.

The house is located 21 km from the airport. Explore the capital San Salvador 51 km away, visit volcanoes, Mayan ruins or take a drive to Surf City 37 km, La Libertad. Past La Libertad is
El Tunco, a surfing village known worldwide. Further down the road from the house, a Hotel, Rancho y Mar, good patio Restaurant and bar. You may be there when they release baby turtles back into the ocean They offer boat tours of the river, kayak rental, or view the animals they have on site.

There are ceiling fans in all rooms and air condition in the bedrooms. Caretakers live on the property in a separate accommodation. Caretakers' wife is a good cook, available for cooking at a fee, you arrange directly with her. Great shrimp, steaks, and chicken on the grill.

San Luis Talpa is a small town that you can shop at the grocery store, farmers market for fresh produce, buy fresh caught fish. Have a snack along the way, pizza restaurant next to the grocery store, or visit the ice cream parlor for a treat.

Property its exactly as pictured, its very nice and can't beat the beach access. So beautiful! The town is colorful and full of culture and great people. However, you do need a car for transportation and most places close early so plan accordantly. We stayed for 5 nights which I would have shorten due to limited activities in town.

Thanks for your response and comments. We are disappointed your expectations were not met. As you mentioned I would have thought you would research the area to determine if it meets your needs before booking. This is not a tourist shopping area. We have been renting for many years and most guest are taking advantage of the central location to the airport, La Libertad, El Tunco and San Salvador. Many guests rent for longer periods looking for relaxation, enjoy the pool, beach, and day trips.

Really good beachfront property but don’t come when it’s storm season because you won’t enjoy the beach or your stay, palm trees were a good option for the entryway and the keeper can cut down as many coconuts you want for a small fee which is a plus in my family’s book

Definitely a place I would recommend, beautiful sunset, lot of space everywhere, so important the access to the beach and a beautiful pool to enjoy!

The house is wonderful, the pool is amazing, truly amazing. The caretaker on property does a wonderful job of keeping things up. Pro’s: Washer AND Dryer which is very rare, The pool is outstanding. The beach is great, definitely a lot of waves so maybe better for someone without kids. Very safe, TV has internet connection, AC works great in the rooms, Well stocked, Has two bathrooms inside plus one by the pool, Caretaker is extreamly helpful and nice. Close to airport (30 minutes) Con’s: Owner wants to send emails instead of communicating through VBRO.Not a nice neighborhood, the house is wonderful but it’s surrounded by not so nice. No AC in the living room or kitchen area.

This was our first time in El Salvador. We really weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into at this location, but we wanted a local experience. Boy did we get it!!! We hardly saw any "tourists" at all while in Playa El Pimental. The beach was basically all ours. The house was exactly as described, and the pool was refreshing and clean. Eva and Alex were very attentive to our needs despite the language barrier. Knowing Spanish or having a translation app is highly recommended. Alex even placed some open coconuts on the outside bar for us a few mornings. Don't worry if you drive in and don't see many nearby restaurants. At dinner time, many families bring their grill out to the street and make various local items for sale. There are several small tiendas along the road for water, snacks and sodas. I'd recommend stopping in San Luis Talpa for any adult beverages you may want before arriving at the house. We can't wait to return!!!!

Awesome place for the cost. Would of gave a 5 star review if there would of been hot water in either of the showers inside the house. The rest of the house was great. Beautiful views especially at sunset. Best part of the house though hands down is the host Alex and his wife Eva. They helped with transportation, speaking with and navigating through town.

Thanks, Bryan. Your comments are appreciated. The hot water system had stopped working and Alex was trying to fix the problem, El Salvador is still a developing country and unfortunately it took a few days to have corrected, longer than expected. As you can understand Home Depot is just not around the corner. We appreciated your understanding and for mentioning our prices are reasonable for what you get. I want to clarify the house has hot water in all bathrooms in the house and kitchen, as many future guests read your comments and believe the house does not have hot water, although common in some places.

The property was exactly as described. Alex and Eva made us feel so welcome and cared for. We purchased food to cook and we also went to a restaurant thats a short walk from the house that alex suggested. We used El Salvador VIP for our transportation to and from the airport and the driver took us to the supermarket that is on the way to the property so we had everything we wanted and needed.The pool is refreshing and being oceanfront was another great aspect of this property as well! The kitchen has all the hardware needed to cook .the AC is nice and cold and the fans are great as well. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an oceanfront stay at a great price point and i will definitely return to this property!! The host was also very responsive with any questions prior to our stay!

Our stay at this home was beyond perfect. Check in was a breeze and the on-site caretakers Alex and Eva are true gems and such nice people. The property is kept immaculately clean, inside and outside. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils/pots/pans/towels. The washer and dryer came in handy to launder the beach/bathing towels during our stay. Alex and Eva told us abaout a restaurant near the house that delivers which was such a convenience during our stay. There is also plenty of convenience stores along the road and one is right across the street from the property. The town is close by, we had the beach all to ourselves for our entire stay, and the pool was sparkling and well taken care of. We cannot wait to book again and will be sure to check for availability when we plan our next trip to El Salvador.

The rancho (San Luis Talpa Beach House) has been rented on Trip advisor (Flip Key) for a number of years. We have 63 reviews for a score of 5 out of 5, Trip Advisor is unfortunately shutting down their flip key site.

We have caretakers, Eva and Alex that live in a separate small house. Eva can provide cooking services this would be arranged directly with her for price and menu

Eva and Alex will greet you and answer any questions you may have.

I hope you will enjoy the beach house as much as I do, place is very safe, and you will have the beach to yourself. We keep the rental cost responsible to allow others to enjoy. Thanks.

This was bought as a dream after staying at the hotel in the area and to have a place on the beach. The little town of San Luis Talpa has everything you need, and everyone is nice and helpful for your need. Beach is steps out the gate.


What makes this property unique

The house is close to the airport and further down the road is La Libertad surfing beach.
The weather is great, cheap local seafood, nice people! Our rancho is a great get away with a private pool and the beach to yourself!
