Great cabin

This is a great place to stay with an amazing property manager. Really cozy. We had an appliance go out while we were there and they did everything they could to accommodate us and help fix the issue while we were there. Highly recommend them and the property manager to anyone looking to stay in the Ashe Cpunty area.

We had a wonderful stay at this home and would definitely rent it again! The home was exactly as described and very clean, and communication with the host was excellent. Everything was easy and straightforward from beginning to end.One feature we especially appreciated was the gated back deck. The deck is enclosed on both ends, which meant our dog could relax outside with us without us having to worry about him running off. It was such a great feature for anyone traveling with a pet!The home had everything we expected, plus a nice extra that I don’t remember seeing mentioned in the description — a magnifying mirror in the master bathroom, which was a very thoughtful convenience. The location was also great. It was close to the New River and West Jefferson, making it easy to enjoy the area. The front porch had beautiful views, and because the home is situated in a rural area, there was a wonderful sense of privacy whether we were sitting on the front porch or enjoying the back deck.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, private, and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again when we visit West Jefferson in the future!

Great quiet place

We stayed here working in Ashe County for Hurricane Helene relief and we loved it. The view is beautiful and the home is very nice with a great selection of kitchen utensils and a crockpot which was my favorite to use while we were there. Had everything we needed to make this our home away from home. We loved it so much we have rented it again in the future because we are staying through the end of the year helping clean up from Hurricane Helene.

Wonderful Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in Bear Creek Ridge was wonderful. The cabin was in a great location...fifteen minutes or so from West Jefferson and about thirty to North Wilkesboro. The cabin was clean and looked brand new. It was equipped with everything we possibly could have needed. We loved the decor. The teenager with us actually counted the bears inside the cabin - 183 but found a couple more before we left so it may be closer to 190 bears! The abundance of board games and the game room/garage had lots to keep us entertained. IF there was a downside-one of us broke her foot a couple of days before we came and was in a wheelchair. Accessibility (maybe through the garage) would have been helpful, but we managed. Inside everything was equipped and she managed fine.Great customer service as always with CMVR!
