LAKEFRONT COTTAGE w/ Private Dock On Lake Brownwood

This charming and historic lake property is the perfect destination for family and friends. Situated on a cove with its own private dock, you can fish and swim for hours. This property has everything you need:

--A full kitchen with standard size oven and refrigerator plus two dining tables for plenty of room for you and all of your guests.

--The spacious bathroom also contains a washer & dryer

--New Smart TV with Netflix

--WiFi

--Queen bed in first room, Day bed with trundle in second can be used as two twins or pushed together to create one King size bed

--Sofa bed sleeps two

--Children's activity table

--Large patio with charcoal grill and stunning lake views

--Private dock for fishing and tying up boat. Boat slip is 8.5 feet wide by 20 feet long. It is 7.5 feet from the water to the rafter. There is no lift system.

--Public boat ramp less than 1 mile away at Flat Rock Park.

--The Hideout Golf Course is located at Lake Brownwood just a few miles from the house.

--Nearby restaurants in Brownwood include: Gomez Mexican Restaurant, Humphrey Pete's Steak House, Section Hand Steak House, Lemons' Bar-B-Q, Schlotsky's, China King, Chili's, Prima Pasta, CiCi's Pizza, The Turtle Restaurant and many more.

NOTES:
Please use your beach towels and keep our bathroom towels at the house. If you've forgotten a required life jacket, we will have a few on hand that you can borrow. But please remember to bring your own so you can be sure you have a proper fit. Also, water shoes are recommended for the dock and lake and all SWIMMING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Wash dishes and leave them in the drainer or return to the cabinets
Leave any used linens in the floor near the washer/ dryer
Be sure the trash is in bags and is in the dumpster outside
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We require a 3 night minimum on Holiday weekends
Booking Traveler MUST: -be part of the group stay
Please tell the owner ahead of time, if you are bringing a trailer for a boat or jet skies

We had a great little weekend

Cozy cottage on the lake

Our trip to Brownwood was wonderful! We had plenty of room for our family. We were in Brownwood to watch some HPU baseball and visit with our son during his spring break. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

Quiet cabin in the woods

This cabin is great for a quiet weekend away. Nothing fancy but all you need for a relaxing weekend. Has it's own dock which is nice. I'm planning on a return trip in the future.

Nice lake house

It was a nice stay. The lake house has nice and surrounded with big trees for an outdoorsy feel. There was a tree swing our toddler enjoyed out back. Went down to the dock to fish. The home was clean, and the owner was very friendly.

Amazing Cabin

My family stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had the best experience!! We fished, swam off the dock, watched fireworks from our boat and enjoyed watching all the deer. The cabin had fantastic A/C which we were very grateful for. There is plenty of space and tons of living space which is great for family time! The dock was a little bit of a walk but worth it. We were able to keep our boat tied up in there and it was so easy to take it out for short or long periods! Would definitely rent this cabin again, we had an amazing experience and a memorable weekend!!!

Our family's cabin was built by my grandparents in 1943 while my dad was overseas fighting in WWII. They lived at the lake for several years and I enjoyed lots of time there with all of our family from near and far.
After my parents' death, I bought the house from my cousins with the purpose of keeping it for our family and generations to come. It has become a place for weekend visits and family reunions!

Why they chose this property

This property is not finely manicured but instead has a well-maintained yet natural look to give you a secluded country feeling. Many of the homes in our area are full-time homes for the people around the cove. Others are vacation homes. But all are situated on beautiful Lake Brownwood and that means fishing, swimming and fun!

What makes this property unique

We hope you'll enjoy the large patio that overlooks the lake. It is ready for you with a grill and seating for 8. The sun comes up over the lake on the patio side, so be sure not to sleep too late so you can enjoy the changing colors of the beautiful and unforgettable sunrise.
