The location is excellent. It's a quiet cabin with deer nearby and we enjoyed sitting on the porch during the rain. The hosts always responded promptly and everything was perfect.
Two bedrooms are upstairs. The staircase is steep so bringing luggage up can be challenging. Upstairs shower is small.

For future guests: there is also a bedroom and a full bathroom downstairs. The downstairs bathroom has a full size bathtub with a shower. The staircase is a vintage log home staircase and it is a bit steeper than is typical in modern homes. We're always happy to answer questions about accessibility and layout!
This was the perfect place for us to stay for a wedding we attended at the Bygone Hotel. It had everything we needed and Jennifer and Gregory were great hosts. They were even able to get the cabin ready for us before the normal checkin time. It is also just a couple of minutes from Wimberley and they had many suggestions about all the restaurants and things to do. Highly recommended!
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Morning coffee in the rockers on the porch listening to the birds was the perfect way to start the day. The hot tub was great after exploring Wimberly doing a bit of retail therapySome of the nice perks were a bag of local coffee beans & coffee grinder, a clothes steamer to get out the travel wrinkles & lots of games & puzzles...we had several late night domino games
Wonderful getaway to Wimberley that was even better by staying at the Paper Moon Log Cabin. Clean, cozy, comfortable beds, great linens...everything was perfect!
