This house in Thomas was perfect. It was cozy and one of the best well stocked VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in. We visited for a few days over fall break to enjoy the fall color and hike the Appalachian mountains.

Perfect weekend away!

Darlene was very accommodating and provided all check in details several days prior to our arrival, which made checking in easy. The house was clean, warm, cozy, & had everything we could have needed for our winter weekend getaway. We would love to stay here again!

Absolutely amazing property! The location is great, the couches and beds so comfortable, the entire house immaculate! So many little touches - mints on the beds, multiple outlets,charming decor, a very spacious feel! Outside areas to enjoy. We just loved our stay!! GREAT instructions from the owners on everything, including places to go, and Netflix and Prime! Would return! Hopefully soon!

The house was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. I was running the Blackwater Canyon half marathon and it was so convenient to be able to walk to packet pick up and the start. We walked to Purple Fiddle, Tip Top and all of the shops of Thomas in just about 10 minutes. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the games were fun.

Our family came to Thomas WV for our first ski trip. We’ve had many vacation rentals in the past and this one was one of the best. Clean, cozy, and everything we needed. Great location close to the resort. Great experience.

Wonderful mini vacation with grandkids

House was spotless, kitchen well equipped, coffee, creamer provided. Plenty of towels, etc. We didn’t get the snow we hoped for but still had some good skiing. Nice area to walk dogs. Would highly recommend and we hope to get back here again!

Perfect Thomas/Davis Getaway

Very clean property and everything we needed was there. Very easy check in and out process. Convenient location to Blackwater Falls and cute shops, galleries, and eateries within a couple minutes. Grocery store and convenience store are close as well. We stayed with our two boys, two dogs, and in-laws. The space was cozy, but plenty of seating and space to separate when we needed it. I would recommend this location and would happily stay again.

Perfect Mtn Getaway

We had a great long weekend in Thomas, WV, and really appreciated having such a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay. Darlene was an excellent host — communication was clear, quick, and easy throughout.The house was spotless, very up to date in all its amenities, and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The location made it easy to get to Blackwater Falls State Park, Davis, and other nearby spots. We also really appreciated being able to bring our dogs along — having them with us made the trip even better.All in all, a clean, modern, pet-friendly place in a great location. We'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property

Communication was clear and helpful, and the owner was quick to respond to communications. Everything inside is very clean and well organized. The living room area was great for lounging around, the kitchen had all the necessary appliances and dishes, the beds were comfy. The list of requests to complete upon checkout was shorter and more reasonable than many places. The kids and I really enjoyed the driving video game which was a nice plus. Overall, just a comfortable stay. We hope to return one day.

The house all we could have asked for. Clean, comfy, newer finishes and appliances. Y'all even had condiments and cooking oil. That was awesome because i brought brownie mix but no oil.
