We loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom and on opposite sides of house. The gameroom was a nice bonus area to relax after a day of exploring the smokies. Property management was quick to respond when we lost power. We will definitely be back.
Nice place to hang out and get away for a little bit. Cabin seemed well organized and from what I saw clean. Not too far away from tourist areas either.
Overall pretty good. When we got there there was a deathly smell. It took the property manager 2 hours to get back to us after a phone call and message through app. We found the smell to be from a dead rat in the toilet with the lid closed. You could tell from the smell it had been in there for a while. When the people finally called back they apologized and said they’d send someone in the morning to clean the toilet. My husband had already fished it out of the toilet. There were some dust and bugs on the window SIL, under the couch and in the sofa bed need to be cleaned more often. The mattresses are not great but not terrible. The dish wear and things were good. The space was great for my family of 5 and we loved the hot tub and air hockey.
We had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. It was clean and secluded as stated in the listing; however, it could use some updates such as replacing worn out furniture. The shower in the red bathroom did not have any pressure nor would it drain. Overall, decent cabin for the price.
This was our second time renting the property this year, clearly we were pleased with our first experience to return 6 months later. The beds are a bit firm for our liking (bring mattress pads if this is an issue) but the game room, hot tub and location never disappoint. And they were flexible with booking as we added an extra night 2 weeks from arrival.
We had a wonderful time at this property! The owner always replied back to me in great time! This is the perfect home for an adult weekend or trip with the kiddos! It was so perfect, especially the game room and hot tub! I don’t think our kids came up stairs much as we packed games but the games room was awesome! I would definitely rent again, it’s beautiful here. The porch is absolutely relaxing, and perfect for early mornings with coffee! Everything was extremely clean and had beautiful touches throughout the home such as the wooden American flag above the fireplace!
Yes, the driveway is hilly and curvy but so is every road in the area. It is well maintained and not really an issue. The house is perfect for a great smoky mountain getaway. I loved that we could go in the Cosby entrance to the park and avoid the crowds in Gatlinburg. The hot tub was very appreciated at the end of a long day of hiking or shopping. There are tons of small shops and restaurants you can get to without going into the traffic jam of Gatlinburg and we loved them all. The house was decorated for fall which made if feel homey. Beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, although we didn't do any real cooking so I can't really comment on the pans. Any questions we had before our stay were answered quickly. We would definitely stay here again.
The game room was a lot of fun on the day we lounged around. The location was definitely secluded, the drive way was a mile off the main road. The beds were hard for my preference but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Despite the hurricane that hurt the area the property managers were very helpful in our decision to travel there. We also donated some items to the cause.
The property is beautiful and quiet. Everything is as the description and pictures show. The bed in the red room is hard as a brick. (Some people like that) the recliner up stairs needs replacing and the downstairs pull out bed is broken. Hot tub is wonderful. If it wasn’t for the bed being so hard and the hurricane lol it would have been great!

Wonderful place to stay when visiting the Smoky Mountains. More rural and a bit of a drive to get to some locations in the park, but so worth it. Every drive in this area is beautiful. Loved the privacy. Loved using the hot tub with woods surrounding us and sitting on the porch swing listening to the cicadas. Enjoyed the game room and had a lot of fun with the air hockey. Not a fancy cabin, but very clean, comfortable, and had everthing we needed. Nice to have a bathroom attached to both bedrooms upstairs.
Enjoyed hanging out with the family on the porch and in the game room.

it's ok
There's no ping pong table as pictured. The TV only gets about 4 channels. & now I now what to do if you have a bunch of crap furniture you don't want to throw away but can't afford a storage unit- VRBO! The hot tub is about 100 years old, so it fit in well. The location was great but it has no view- just trees.
We loved the property and all the amenities! Really loved the book selection! Maybe stock coffee filters and more than 2 trash bags. Overall, we were all very happy with the cabin and experience!!! It is a great get away cabin!!!
This cabin was perfect for our group! Loved the game room and sitting on the porch with coffee in the mornings and a book in evenings. Wish there was a bigger grill and better shower in the red bathroom but overall was convenient location with everything we needed
The cabin was perfect for our little family summer vacation! We love visiting TN and try to visit each summer, choosing cabins away from all the other tourists and this cabin definitely was secluded. It was so nice waking up surrounded by nature every morning. The game room was a hit and a nice respite from screen time for everyone. Clean cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub every night. Enjoyed some home cooked meals using the kitchen ware and appliances available and enjoyed swinging on the front porch bench while sipping coffee.
This gorgeous cabin in the mountains of Tennesee was the perfect getaway for me and my two sons, ages 21 and 14. After a long, 9 hour car ride to get there, it was a welcoming end to our trip down. The drive from the main road up to the cabin was fun, but I don't recommend trying it in a small car or non SUV. Its a bit steep and there is a sharp turn in the road. We did have a little trouble with the lock box, but after a little playing with it we were able to get it open. Once inside, we were welcomed by a very beautifully decorated home, with everything you would need for a home away from home. The bedrooms were nice and spacious and the beds were comfy. Linens were supplied, so that was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The basement game room was perfect for my 2 boys. They loved playing pool daily. The hot tub was amazing after being out and about all day...it hit the spot! We did have a nighttime visitor a few nights of our stay, which turned out to be a cute raccoon. I was honestly hoping to see a bear, but no luck this time.
My boys and I were very pleased with our stay at Timber Ridge, and would definitely recommend it. If we return to the Smokey Mountains again it will definitely be a place we will consider staying at again!
