This was our first stay in Estes Park. We stayed for a week because my son got married Memorial Day week. We've stayed in our share of short term rentals - always very nice properties. This one, however, amazed! For one, it was the cleanest rental we have EVER stayed at...EVER!! The place was not only spotless, but everything about this house was outstanding, from the quality of workmanship to the furniture to the tasteful decorating to having all of necessities and the feel of the comforts of home. The place is beautiful - modern yet cozy in a mountain home sort of way. We loved the fireplace - so beautiful!Although the view of the mountain is slightly limited by pine trees in front of the property, you can see a lot of mountain and it's very close. It is also bordered by a rushing river just feet away. And the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is only three minutes - what a bonus!!What was especially nice is that our three families each had their own bedroom AND bathroom which was great for getting ready, especially for the wedding.Beautiful place, clean, beautiful view, very nice neighborhood for nice walks along the river. Oh!, and we saw Elk on the property numerous days. This trip was life changing and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks, McDermott Base Camp! :)
