Our host was incredibly wonderful, communicative, and had a lovely home. The location was not only superb, but the home itself was fun and had so much charm. It was a perfect getaway weekend - we definitely recommend this spot for your next stay!

Jazmine & Chad are 5-star, red carpet guests: kind, considerate, communicative, conscientious and charming. A handful of virtual confetti here, in celebration of these two ideal guests and top-notch human beings!
I highly recommend Hera House. It is a charming house conveniently located near Lower Greenville Avenue. The rental is the entire upper floor. For a couple or single person this is the perfect spot. Día is a gracious, accommodating host. There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. This is everything I need when traveling. The fridge even has some bottles of water!! The bed is super comfortable. There is a separate sitting room. Hera House is my go to VRBO in Dallas.

Thanks so much, Kris – you were an ideal guest, fully in harmony with the peaceful presence of Hera House. Would be honored and pleased to host you again!
Great place to stay! It was great to stay in a place that cared about allergens and the environment. I loved the simplicity of the rooms. The house is a very short walk to many lower Greenville establishments. Dia was very communicative and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when in Dallas!

What a pleasure to have a mature, considerate house guest like Valerie! She went above and beyond the minimum in taking care of the space. A good communicator, she established a friendly rapport and maintained a quiet, low profile during her visit. Having a guest who bothers to stay in sync with her host and who seems not only contented to be in your space but makes an effort to leave it in the same tidy condition that she found it IS A TREASURE. Highly recommended!
The owner was so accommodating and truly cared if I was comfortable and if I needed anything. The home was so charming and great places to eat were easy to walk to and to enjoy the lower Greenville area. I would stay here again, for sure! Thank you for your hospitality!
Dia was a fabulous host who greeted me in person even though my arrival time was late at night. I loved getting to know her and felt very comfortable and at-ease throughout my stay. I will be returning to this special spot nestled in a bustling, cute neighborhood.

5-star guest: warm, considerate, communicative and conscientious, Sabrina was a host’s delight. If VRBO awarded Oscars, Sabrina would be a winner!
Dia was a wonderful host. It was warm in Dallas while we were there, & the A/C unit kept us cool & comfy. The water & Coke Zero were a nice bonus. We had the upstairs to ourselves. Thanks for your hospitality Dia.

Loved having you both! 5-star guests, for sure – kind, conscientious, communicative and quiet. Best of the best, all 'round. Thanks ,Jan & Eileen.
Hera House was lovely! A very comfortable space. You go through the front door to the house and there are closed doors to your left and right - that’s where the owner of the property lives but having these closed doors effectively creates the feeling of a private entrance - you head up the stairs to where your bedroom and bathroom are. Very comfortable bed, AC unit in room, sink in room, a coffee maker and a fridge with bottled waters in the hallway. Dia was a great host, very communicative and helpful. The location is fantastic as well. Right in the heart of lowest Greenville, you’ll be able to find a lot to do just walking around. 5/5 would stay at Hera House again.
We had a great time exploring Greenville out of the Hera House. So convenient and unique, best value you can find in the area!

This couple was pleasant & conscientious, as well as communicative. I was happy to offer them a refuge at Hera House for their time away from home. They left a light footprint and a kind presence.

An experience of history in the midst of Greenville
I am sick of staying in generic hotels. The Hera House was built in the 1920s and the owner (who lives downstairs with a separate entrance) is a 3rd generation owner! We enjoyed the entire upstairs, a master and a smaller sitting room. All hardwood floors, huge trees, unbelievable convenience to the best bars, restaurants, walking, and yoga. There is only a mini fridge and microwave but who wants to cook with so many restaurants at hand? Wi-fi included.

Charming Unit in Vibrant Neighborhood
There owner was very kind and there was total privacy on the second floor of the home. I appreciated the second sitting room which I used as an office space. I loved the location too, I was able to walk to fitness classes and lunch spots. I would highly recommend this place for an individual or couple looking to stay in a unique neighborhood in Dallas.

An unexpectedly perfect gem with relaxed vibes.
Dia was the perfect host with the most perfect gem of a house that is right off the Lower Greenville area of Dallas. It truly is a "Sanctuary in the City", and I will be staying here when visiting from now on. After experiencing issues with the hotel room I had booked for a conference downtown (hotel overbooked with no other available rooms within a 20-30min drive), I hurriedly emailed Dia at 7:30am the day I arrived in town. She responded within an hour, saved me from being homeless, and Lower Greenville offered a MUCH better experience than what my colleagues had. The restaurants, bars, yoga studio and shops were within one-minute walking distance from her abode, and I felt very safe, comfortable, and even up for some exploration! Dia had told me to walk over to Steel City Pops for a light treat/snack, and I was thrilled to discover their popsicles are UNBELIEVABLY GOOD! On top of the fact that she's purely rad, the house and Dia are (like me) environmentally-friendly; I LOVED the fact that the house is low-allergen, has no conventional cleaning product smells, and has wood floors. The best part is that the windows can be opened for fresh air, which added a refreshing (and fun!) element to my morning showers. I also loved having my sink in my room where everything was easily accessible and I felt like I had more privacy to get ready in the evenings/mornings. The house has a European flare with the shower room and toilet room being separate. I, personally, prefer this as it is much more hygienic. I appreciated the easy WIFI connection instructions Dia provides in the rental room. She went above-and-beyond the normal requirements of a host and is an honest, trustworthy, reliable, and just simply pleasant to be around. I would, unhesitatingly, recommend others to enjoy a beautifully relaxing experience at Hera House and will be staying here again in the future!

If I could rate guests, Courtney would be decorated with 5 brightly shining stars (twinkling stars would look beautiful in her lioness hair, by the way). My experience as her host was wonderfully enhanced by Courtney's warm heart, sweetness and sincerity. When a guest is so appreciative, communicative and good-spirited as Courtney, a host feels the blessing of her presence – and is uplifted by the perfect harmony she brought to my house and to me. Grateful to have met her!
