This Vrbo is the perfect home base for small groups/families visiting America's Coolest City!

Just a short drive away from many of San Diego's local attractions: less than 10 minutes away from SDSU and Downtown, 15 minutes away from the Zoo, and 20 minutes away from Sea World and some of San Diego's most beautiful beaches!

This home offers a FULLY fenced in front yard so you can enjoy the outdoors while your furry pals run around freely AND a side yard equipped with a FIRE PIT and HAMMOCK to enjoy the night sky in comfort and privacy.

THE SPACE:
Our newly remodeled one-story 3bd/2bth home is inspired by some of the (many) reasons why San Diego is often referred to as “America’s Coolest City” and specifically designed to offer our guests a clean, comforting and inviting atmosphere. This home includes a (fenced-in) front yard, side yard equipped with lounge chairs and a fire pit; and game room.

KITCHEN:
This home includes the perfect kitchen for guests who love to cook/bake, and it has plenty of room for additional sous-chef(s) when needed. Comes fully equipped with brand-new stainless steel appliances and basic kitchen equipment, although please be sure to read our digital guidebook after booking to see what items are provided.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
San Diego is known for its phenomenal outdoor lifestyle, and with its nearly perfect year-round weather, you'll get to see why soon. Whether its the beaches and beautiful parks, or the fun local bars and lively neighborhoods, San Diego has something for everyone. That said, this space is perfectly set up for those days/nights you feel like staying home and being outside at the same time. In the side yard you'll find patio furniture and a fire pit, and a beautiful newly turfed front yard for soaking in the sun and playing yard games like Ladder Toss.

GAME ROOM:
Detached garage turned arcade/game room is equipped with a ping pong table, arcade machine (with up to 14 games), and basketball hoop when the weather is not-so great, or when the kids want some space (or vice versa).

We traveled from the Bay Area to spend Christmas with family. The check-in process was seamless and convenient. The house is cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed for a fantastic stay. It was just a 10-minute drive to our family's house, where we celebrated Christmas. The location was ideal. The kids loved the game room, and the living room was perfect for binge-watching Christmas movies. We also traveled with our dog. This house is very pet-friendly. We spent 5 nights here and had a very enjoyable and memorable holiday vacation.

I left the house immaculately and I have videos to prove it for these kinds of reasons . Owner had cleaning crew ready to clean 25 minutes before check out. We requested a late check out and last minute said cleaning crew couldn’t . Which I thought was rude because they encouraged us to stay till 3 for 40.00 extra. But then back peddled so my family and cousins were scrambling after my sisters engagement . It rubbed us all the wrong way. Then they tried to charge us for damaged bedding and towels .

Nicole and I strive to be fair, transparent, and responsive with every guest. Ms. Quintanilla’s characterization of her stay is inaccurate and does not reflect the documented facts of the stay. Accordingly, we would like to clarify the circumstances of this review for future guests: We always strive to accommodate late check outs - unfortunately, certain factors (e.g. same day turnover) affect our ability to accommodate these requests at times. A late checkout was requested late the night before departure and was clearly declined due to the cleaning team’s schedule. Despite this, the home was vacated well past the standard checkout time, forcing our cleaning crew to wait outside the premises until the guests finally vacated. The condition of the home as left by these guests went well beyond normal post-stay cleaning, forcing us to replace a number of linens and towels that were either missing or permanently damaged, and hire professional upholstery cleaning for stains and smells that could not be removed through standard methods. We take pride in maintaining a clean, well-run home and have consistently received positive feedback from guests over many months of hosting. For that reason, it’s disappointing to see claims that are inconsistent with the documented condition of the property and our clear checkout communication. We hope that this review does not deter you from choosing us for your next stay.

SDSU Graduation

We stayed at this beautiful VRBO for our child’s college graduation in San Diego, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described—if not better! Every room was thoughtfully appointed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, and we loved gathering in the common areas to celebrate and relax.The location was ideal—close to the campus and shopping.Our host was responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. This property made an already special weekend even more memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego for a family trip or celebration!
