Amazing location, with tons to do nearby and easy access to public transportation. The apartment was extremely well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as toiletries, blankets, etc. Access to the roof was an incredible perk, definitely worth checking out for the views, if nothing else. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
The apartment is very clean and has a fantastic view. It does get warm during the day, but it has a portable air conditioning unit that helps a lot. If you have a car, the public parking lot is conveniently located right across the street. It’s a good idea to download one of the parking apps, as you can only park until 6:00 am before it expires.
There were four adults but the bedroom and the pull out bed worked very well. The AC was okay in the living room but not as well in the bedroom. However this didn't spoil our tip.There was absolutely everything we could ever need in the apartment and the instructions were very clearWe were a little worried about the area with the homeless but it turned out it was very central
Do not be put off by the lack of reviews, this was the perfect rental for our stay in Vancouver. Marisa was the perfect host, responsive and communicative, in other words, Perfect. The location in Gastown is exceptional, there is a grocery store and drugstore steps from the elevator, the view from the 21st floor is a delight, and the view from the rooftop and 42nd floor gym is even better. Secure building in a good neighborhood, pleasant concierge (Paul), all the amenities one could wish for, the air conditioner helps with the afternoon sun, comfortable bed, and the shower and bathroom are nicely fitted out, as is the kitchen. Don't overlook the parking space in a gated garage (that would cost you an additional CAD 40 a night in a hotel). An abundance of restaurants around, including The Water St. Cafe (good Italian and other dishes). We opted to take Lyft to Published on Main and Sushi Bar Maumi because parking can be a pain in Vancouver, and allows one to Wine and dine without worry. The bus terminal is only a short couple of blocks away as is the waterfront. The check-in was cut and dried, and there is nothing to want for in the Condo. I would not even bother looking anywhere else on our next trip up. Thanks again Marisa, see you next year.
