This rental space is great - the issue is that the owners are directly above you. It's not a stand alone house/space, it's their built out basement. You feel constantly watched by the owners and does not give you a feel of a vacation rental. If the description were accurate, then this would explain the pricing as well. Not a very forthcoming description of the property. Otherwise it was clean, as described, beautiful views and good location

Luxurious, very well-appointed unit in upscale neighborhood--quiet, safe/secure location with easy access to area roadways.Water and city views from the expansive glass doors along the entire living area that face the spacious lanai and pool area. The unit was constructed with top quality materials throughout and offers many areas to relax and savor the garden setting and views.Almost too many amenities to fully enjoy in a week: gym, sauna, pool, outdoor kitchen, and steam room (which was enjoyable after long days of exploring and golfing).You will definitely need a car to enjoy the restaurants, shopping and attractions around Vancouver. We loved dining at Miraas persian restaurant and shopping at Fresh Street Market in Ambleside. We found harborside at the ferry terminals to offer some nice dining experiences and views.Several great golfing experiences within a hours drive; Furry Creek golf is fantastic.The 1.5 hour trip to Whistler & 30-min drive to Vancouver city center are must-takes along with lunch at Seasons in Queen-E Park overlooking gardens.You're able to drop off/pick up luggage at unit's entrance gate, but parking is at bottom of steep drive, so reasonable mobility required.Only peculiar aspects of stay are oven is outside in the lanai. There were very few wash cloths or hand towels and no kitchen cloths, towels or pot holders. These are minor issues considering the overall quality, amenities and Need reliable gps for convenient access to unit
