Tree House Luxury Stay

We have a beautiful luxury romantic honeymoon suite tree house for 2 or 4 situated next to a 500 acre walking, biking, canoe, kayak or fishing lake. The treehouse is filled with romance and surprise. The treehouse has a full kitchen to cook your own meals, 2 fireplaces one in the living room and one in the romantic cherry bedroom. The house is constructed in a large 150 year old Burr Oak Tree. The look out and observation deck sits 30 feet up with a professional telescope for night time watching or daytime bird watching in the 550 acre park nearby. Or bring your bikes to ride in Cottage Grove Ravine nature park next door. The park boasts of the best cross country skiing trails in the state, all groomed and ready to ski. Or down hill skiing just 20 minutes away at Afton Alps ski resort. Or you can rent a kayak next door for some fun lake excursions right next door. Or just 20 minutes from our door you could be shopping at the world famous Mall of America. We also have 2 golf courses minutes away. River Oaks Golf course or Hastings Municipal Golf Course.
If you are looking for that extra special time with your honey we have partnered with 3 private chefs to fix you a meal in the treehouse. After you book with us we can send you their website and contact information. We have many fine restaurants in the area as well in Famous downtown Hastings, MN or Prescott, Wisconsin both situated on Mississippi River just minutes from our door.

This is our favorite place we have ever stayed; everything was perfect from top to bottom. We left after work and arrived late in the evening, and the wind chill was very cold. When we walked in for the first time, we were greeted by heated floors, a warm fireplace, Christmas music playing around the tree house, and more. It was the coziest, most welcoming feeling. The stay was so much fun; two weeks later we're still talking about it and saying how much we miss the treehouse.

This is a magical place. It is clean and the gas fireplace is wonderful, and the hidden room and the host’s spiritual core were other draws. There isn’t much nearby (we went to a weak Italian restaurant and to a DQ — not a lot to choose from). I’m giving less than 5 stars for this reason and because I was a bit disappointed by the restrictions on the jacuzzi (no bath salts) and kitchen (use the oven instead of the range). Preparations I’d made then went out the window. How could things be improved? Proactively tell guests what, if anything, can be added to the jacuzzi (not just what can’t be) and let guests use the range (expect there to be some clean up). The bedroom and front sitting room were lovely. The look and feel of the place is quite romantic. So highly recommend

Regarding the jacuzzi and kitchen: we hear you. We’re updating our house guide to clearly state what *is* allowed in the jacuzzi (and why certain products aren’t), so guests can plan accordingly.
