The Afton Lodge is everything and more for what we needed for a family event. The host is outstanding. Any questions we had were immediately answered (within a minute or so). The arcade and pool area are fantastic and both the adults and kids loved both. In addition, the host provided more treats than we could have imagined at check-in. We loved the place and are already talking about renting it again next year.

This place is truly stunning! Incredible to have an indoor pool, game room, hot tub, sauna, etc! --- all in one place. We rented for a business retreat, and people were 'wow'd. Room for all of us, and so many wow moments. We spotted deer from the living room, eagles flying above, campfire with s'mores provided by the host (such a nice touch)... awesome! It's a really special house. Unfortunately, it wasn't totally clean when I arrived. This is a massive house, and I think the cleaners simply ran out of time to finish between rentals - so no shade on them. But I ended up cleaning a bit before my guests arrived - there was noticeable dirt and dust, and carpets not vacuumed. I did also get a report from one of my guests that their bathroom was "plastic" and the shower was so small she could hardly move in it... which is odd, because some of the other bathrooms are GIGANTIC! So - the house has its quirks, but it is really incredible overall!

Sally, an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna under one roof, plus deer and eagles from the living room, is quite the backdrop for a business retreat. Noted on the housekeeping gaps and the smaller bathrooms, and we are looking into both. The campfire and s'mores are waiting whenever your group returns.
