I feel since I paid a large cleanup fee we shouldn’t have to strip the beds, take linens to the washer, load and start dishwasher and take out the garbage. The driveway needs repair and cleanup out back should be done. Mosquito pool should be emptied. We did enjoy our stay and the ambience!
This was the perfect house for a groups of ladies who wanted to spend quality time together. The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Host was excellent.
Beautiful inside and out, room for all 4 of us to relax and rewind, just a beautiful historic home full of charm and antiques throughout the home, pictures do not do it justice, cannot wait till we can come back. Happy New Year.
Trash left in kitchen and a bathroom. Standing water in the dishwasher which was broken. Complaint about smell which was bad was ignored. Kitchen faucet only turned on to a trickle of water. After a day, we removed the nozzle and soaked it to clean some of the deposits. The water was stronger then but sprayed all over the sink. The water coming out of the refrigerator was dirty. O was scared to drink any of the water in the house. Not enough toilet paper left the first night. Had to request more. There was dirt on the second landing and dirty I one of the rooms. The screened in porch had not been made ready for spring even though the weather was in the 70s and something we planned to use. The tablecloth had crumbs on it. There was a birds nest being built with debris all around on the floor. Complaints were sent the first night. The next morning the property manager showed up with 5 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people using 5 bathrooms. When I asked if she was going to clean the property, she argued with me and told me she had cleaned it. Since we had a tour guide waiting on us I dropped the discussion at that point. When we returned about 2hours later, she was leaving the house along with another person and the areas had been swept except on the porch where the birds were building the nest. She said she was not responsible for the dishwasher. There were 5 of us in 4 bedrooms. Ceiling fans turned on with the lights. No way to turn off w/o standing on bed
Overall it was very nice. Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. I would not recommend it for someone who has trouble with stairs as all 4 br's are upstairs. Lots of sitting rooms and good kitchen. Parking can be tough for pickup truck.
