Clean, updated and nicely decorated condo within 5 miles of Siesta Key Beach. Older complex but don’t worry because the interior was as pictured and had beach chairs, towels and cooler which was perfect. Good AC and a dehumidifier for comfortable sleeping. Hard to find two king beds / 2 bath unit and a pullout sofa so we had plenty of space. Easy check in and reserved parking right in front of the unit. Publix grocery 1/4 mile walk with a few restaurants as well. Responsive host. Highly recommend.
Some high areas were dusty but overall nice place. It’s close to a lot of attractions. The biggest problem was the cigarette smoke smell. I’m pretty sure it was coming from the downstairs apartment. We’re all non-smokers so it gave us a pretty bad headache. I’m not thrilled my grandson (18 months) was breathing that in. It’s not the host fault but I would not rent that unit again.

The downstairs unit is also an Airbnb, and smoking is allowed on their patio. Unfortunately, this is something we cannot control, as it belongs to a different owner.
I understand how unpleasant this must have been, especially with a young child, and I truly apologize that it affected your stay. Situations like this can sometimes happen when multiple units are in the same building.

Apartment was acceptable, one bathroom, toilet was not flushing which I had to do minor fix, the Community was not as pleasant, too old, all garbage bins were right on the parking lot, landscaping awful and for last when we arrived the digital code provided to open the apartment main door lock was not the correct one, we had to wait close to 45 minutes but was corrected.

We would like to clarify this situation. You arrived approximately three hours before the official check-in time. This was also communicated to us in an inappropriate tone, with a request for immediate access. Despite this, we made an effort to accommodate you by providing a temporary code so you could access the unit early at no additional charge. However, because of the early entry, we had not yet completed our final inspection to ensure everything was functioning properly, such as the toilet.
The garbage bins are placed in designated areas within the parking lot, which is standard for the community and allows for easy access.
The issue with the entry code occurred because you arrived before the official check-in time. The temporary code was entered incorrectly multiple times, which we can see in the system, and this caused the lock to disable. For this reason, we decided to personally deliver a physical key to ensure you would not experience further access issues—this was still before the official check-in time.
We always do our best to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay and try to be flexible with early check-in whenever possible. However, the tone of communication in this situation was not acceptable to us, as we believe mutual respect is essential between guests and hosts.
This property had everything you need to enjoy Siesta Beach. Kitchen has utensils, appliances, cookware, plates and cups (plus so much more). There are beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and even a boogie board. It's about 12-15 mins to the beach depending on traffic. From the outside you would never think this unit was as nice as it is. Thank you for a great experience!
Beautiful, clean unit with everything you need ! It was so nice to have an umbrella and beach chairs. Don’t be fooled by the view driving through the parking lot, the unit is awesome. The heated pool was clean and well kept. The check in process was so easy. Can’t wait to come back !
