Golf Getaway

What a wonderful experience!!! The home is immaculate. It's super clean; it's super cozy; it's just super all around. The host is very accommodating, and she makes her guests feel very welcome. I really enjoyed my stay.

My husband's aunt passed away, so we and a bunch of family members were all headed to the Mobile area from different parts of the U.S. for her memorial service. We opted to get a VRBO with my husband's siblings, instead of separate hotel rooms, so that we could spend more quality time together... and this house was perfect for that! Both the house and the fenced-in backyard were well-kept, the living room was indeed very cozy (super comfy couch!), the kitchen table was a nice size for board games (which we brought with us from home) or cards, and the sun room with the massage chairs was an added bonus! (I started my morning off with a cup of coffee and a massage before the rest of the group was awake!) Krystal, our host, was incredibly responsive and gracious. And the location was pretty perfect for our needs--a short drive from Walmart, near the airport, and close to a bunch of restaurants.I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, if we're ever back in Mobile with a group!

We had a great stay and Krystal was an excellent host. There were a few minor glitches, but Krystal was always responsive and addressed everyone. My only reccomendation would be to add a true sleeper sofa in place of one of the futon sleeper.

I believe that I must love God, myself, and others (in that order). I LOVE to travel, dance, speak Spanish, watch movies, and bless others. I love being a host and truly enjoy giving that southern hospitality to all of my guests.

Why they chose this property

I bought this home thinking I needed somewhere close to South's campus as I was planning on going to medical school there. I also knew that they would eventually build a football stadium on campus in which they did! I ended up becoming a nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing instead of a medical doctor though.

What makes this property unique

When you stay at KK's House on the Hill, you immediately feel at home. It's a home that I loved for 10 years and filled with love. In addition, there are several areas for families to bond but also have their space in the home. The back yard is especially fun to gather and bond during your stay.
