This is a charming, 2 bedroom/2 bath property with huge front patio within 4 minute walk to the beach and trail and 10 minute walk to the pier, downtown and Amtrak. The property is located on a quiet residential street and has off street parking.
The entire home has travertine-like tile throughout and is bright and happy. The bedroom and living room open to a large patio with seating and umbrellas.
There is w
WIFI, 55" smart TV, DVD and sound bar in the living room with sliding doors that open to the large front patio. There is a gas log fireplace and queen sleeper sofa.
The kitchen has stainless appliances; refrigerator, gas range, ice maker and dishwasher. It is well equipped with all utensils.
There is a king bed (can be made up as 2 twins upon request) in one bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen murphy bed, kitchenette and seating. It has a sliding door opening to rear patio table and gas barbeque.
Both bathrooms are tiled with glass shower doors. The garage has a ping pong table, foosball and all the beach stuff and washer/dryer.

Diane has thought of all the little details that makes a stay at her property enjoyable and stress free. It's clean and convenient. If you like a short walk to the beach and easy access to downtown then you will enjoy staying here too.

Great San Clemente location

We loved our stay here. Downtown and the beach in walking distance. Quiet neighborhood and ideal accommodations. All we could have wanted for our trip to Cali for our son's wedding.

Property was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, we’ll furnished, and proximity to beach as well as all of our day trips: Disney, Joshua Tree, and San Diego. Highly recommend the property and the San Clemente area.

September horse show

We stayed in San Clemente for a horse show we were competing in. Location was great!! Diane was amazing about communicating the parking details etc. Upstairs neighbors were also lovely

Wedding week!

Property is very close to the ocean, a park and Del Mar street! Diane is perfection, great communicator and fully prepared unit, perfect for our needs! Would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again!

Family Vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Comfortable, clean, well stocked! The location was great, you can walk to the beach as well as the Main Street with the restaurants and shopping. Diane was the best host. Very easy to reach and quick to respond. We would love to stay again on our next visit to San Clemente.

Mini Vacay

Great location in a magical community

Walkability, great amenities/supplies and a quiet neighborhood are the keys to this San Clemente rental. We had no issues with our upstairs neighbors at all, but note that the sound travels easily. If you’re a noisy brood, plan to stay elsewhere to maintain the quiet all around you. The patio was excellent!

An Absolute Dream Stay at La Paloma!

Our stay at La Paloma was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully curated to make our vacation effortless and unforgettable.The location is unbeatable — just a short, easy walk to the beach, which made daily trips to the ocean a breeze. We didn’t even need to load up the car, which was a huge bonus, especially with kids in tow. Plus, the nearby shops and local spots were charming and convenient, offering everything from coffee and treats to unique souvenirs.The house itself was incredibly accommodating. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with every amenity we could possibly need (and more!). Whether it was the fully stocked kitchen, cozy lounging spaces, or the little touches throughout, it truly felt like a home away from home.One of the biggest highlights was how family-friendly the property is. There were activities for kids of all ages — including ping pong, beach gear, and entertainment that kept everyone happy and engaged. The attention to detail was remarkable.La Paloma truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, relaxing, and fun. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this one absolutely did. We’re already planning our return!

Another great stay!

This is our second stay at this wonderful house and we can't say enough about the experience! The location is walking distance to the beach and so close to a range of restaurants and shops. The house is clean and stocked with just about anything you need - from the fully stocked kitchen where you can actually cook a meal to laundry detergent and paper products to get you started to plenty of beach towels. Garage is loaded with chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and more. Street is fairly quiet with typically neighborhood traffic and people walking to the beach. We can't wait for our next visit.

Diane is highly responsive and cares very well for her property and guests. The bed is excellent. The subtraction is for the dim lighting and the profusion of ants in the kitchen, bathroom and sometimes in the bedroom. These matters are fixable.

Great location

We had a great week at this property. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great. Perfectly situated in the middle between a walk to the beach and a walk to the shops. Diane was very responsive and great to work with. One thing to know is that while you do have your own private living space, you share the driveway and the garage with the 2nd floor renters. Not a big deal but there was a little coordination required with the other renters to move cars around that we didn’t expect. Otherwise everything was perfect.

San Clemente Mood and vibes

We really loved this place, for many things…for the position, literally 4 minutes walking from Mariposa Beach…with the Pier view and a easy walk to reach it and have a coffe or the best sunset in OC. The location is great with everything perfect for your vacation: rooms, cleanliness, all the details, everything provided by the landlord to make your journey absolutely perfect. The patio outside is perfect to rest a little bit after the beach or, even better, for a drink with your people…there is a back patio too with more privacy for a late dinner with bbq and candles. We love san Clemente because that place is for us a second home, but thanks to you Miss D and your house we brought back to our country all the possibles good vibes from the city with the best weather ever.

Great place to stay

This is our second visit to Diane's home and, as expected, it was lovely. The home is well-furnished and clean. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet so sleeping is a dream. The kitchen is fully furnished and there are lots of dishes, pots and pans and a full-sized coffee maker. Restaurants in San Clemente are plentiful so you may not eat at home much! It is an easy, though steep, walk to the beach but the host has provided everything you will need to have a great time on the sand. There is even a wagon with big, knobby tires to help you get all the toys to the beach. My family and I are already looking forward to our next visit to Diane's house.

Well appointed accommodations near the beaches and shopping! !

This unit was well equipped with full kitchen and bath supplies including a few condiments (left behind from past tenants) and ziplock bags foil etc. coffee some cooking spices etc. shower gel as well. The location and amenities were awesome! There was also tons of beach gear, lots of boogie boards, chairs, wagons, even ice chests (all of which I didn't realize was there and we would have left ours at home.) The garage is made into a fun rec room so ping pong tournaments were had each night. The shared parking ended up working out just fine and neighboring tenants were great! I don't see well so the only 2 things I would say that were difficult for maybe me on a personal level was that the lights were dim and it was hard for me to see at night in the kitchen and back bedroom. And the wifi was great but didn't really work too well in the back bedroom for streaming the computer to watch TV...But those 2 things would not keep me from giving the host and property a great recommendation....Also nicely decorated as well and nice improvements with the front patio and interior renos as well! Loved all the charm of the property. Diane was great and extremely available upon arrival and would have been throughout if we needed her but we got into the groove of our vacation and all was good! First time in a while my family came away with all positive feedback when we got home! Thank you!!

Loved every minute of our stay.

Diane was wonderful to work with. She always replied quickly to the few questions we had. The property was perfect for our family of 5. Enough room for all of us and walking distance to the beach. I love San Clemente and Diane’s home allowed us to really experience it all. My whole family agreed it was the best beach trip we’ve done so far. We will definitely return again. Thanks Diane!

Very Nice Place!

Our family came out for Laguna College of Art and Design's open house. It was a very nice lower unit with a beautiful front patio. We enjoyed kicking back and sitting out there after a day of hiking in the Laguna canyon. The one thing that worked out well for us was that the king sized bed could be made into twin beds for our sons. The other thing that was great is that it is within walking distance to the beach! It was a very enjoyable stay, in a beautiful location, and Diane was great with answering our questions and meeting our needs.

We went to the beach in San Clemente for many years when our three sons were growing up and have many fond memories. We love the area and feel fortunate to have a home here. We live about twenty minutes away and love coming here. When we retire it is totally possible that we will move here.
