About this property

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom town home is located on the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage in a gated community with security 24/7.

Our home is very spacious, approximately 2600 square feet, with large floor to ceiling windows throughout the entire condo allowing the sun and beauty to peek in. The patio spans the length of the town home and overlooks a large lake which backs up to the #1 fairway on the Pete Dye course, home of the Women's PGA Kraft Nabisco Championship. The view is spectacular. It is very quiet and peaceful. You are surrounded by grapefruit, lemon and orange trees. There are plenty of eating areas on the deck including a fire pit. There are two pools with detached hot tubs just steps away.

The large master bedroom has a king size bed. It is attached to a bathroom with his and her vanities separated by huge mirrors on both sides and a separate tub and shower. The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed and it's own bathroom with a shower and a tub. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds and sits right next to the guest bathroom which also has a shower. All the bathrooms have skylights and are very bright and cheery. There is tons of closet space in all three bedrooms. Each room is equipped with a flat screen TV and DVR player. The living room has a 75" flat screen TV which is spectacular. TV shows can be recorded in every room, and there are many free movies to watch. The condo has wireless internet and telephone service, including free calls to Canada and Puerto Rico. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials including pots and pans, tuperware, microwave, coffee maker, cuissanart, blender, and every thing you need for entertaining. There is a washer and dryer, bar and plenty of living space. There is a detached 2 car garage and convenient parking spaces for guests. There are his and her bikes stored in the garage, to use at your convenience to tour the grounds.
Shopping and fine dining are just minutes away.

An oasis, star-studded and sun-blessed.

Karen's place is a delightful, tastefully-appointed, family-friendly home. We greatly enjoyed getting to know the neighbors . . . mallards and egrets, hummingbirds and pelicans, even a stunning vermillion flycatcher. Convenient location to lots of area attractions. And as for the grapefruit tree in the backyard . . . every home should have one!

A classic in the desert

We stayed at Karen's condo for the month of November with visits from children/grandchildren. We have rented in the Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage area for the last 6 Novembers and this is the best place yet. We have already booked next November The best feature is the view from the kitchen dining and living room areas. It looks over the patio, through a bougainvillea hedge and citrus trees across a small lake to the Pete Dye golf course. Spectacular. The patio is large and very private. On one side there is a fire pit table and on the other side a patio dining table. We regularly used both As others have mentioned it is very well supplied with serving dishes, plates, cutlery and other kitchen utensils. Only item missing for us was a coffee grinder so we bought ground coffee. The non-perishables of previous renters have not been removed so many basic supplies are available. We also used the two bicycles. They are good quality men's and women's cruiser (one speed) bikes. The Mission Hills CC is huge in area so you can do lots of exploring on quiet streets without going outside the gates. Unlike many condo developments, the condos in Mission Hills have a number of different sizes and designs in different areas including multi-million dollar homes in the eastern part of the property. Makes for good exploring.

We inherited this wonderful home from our parents in 2002. We have spent over 38 years enjoying it's beauty, swimming, entertaining and relaxing in the sun. This home is filled with wonderful memories and it continues to be a favorite place to vacation for our family.

Why they chose this property

Everything about this property is perfect, from the amazing views to the fruit trees dripping with lemons, tangerines and grapefruits . It's often surrounded by snow capped peaks in the winter and summer and the grounds are covered with colorful flowers. It is peaceful, quiet and always serene.

What makes this property unique

You never want to leave! The sunrise is as beautiful as the sunset. Being indoors is as lovely as being outdoors. Our home is light and airy and a wonderful place to relax, wind down and feel the stress melt away. It's a perfect place to entertain, open and spacious.
