Escape to a tranquil retreat at this spacious 4-bedroom/4 bathroom house on the lake in Guntersville, Alabama. Two minute drive to downtown shopping areas and about 40 minutes from the Rocket City in Huntsville! Home is professionally decorated and conveniently located with-in one mile of downtown Guntersville and several grocery, shopping and convenience stores. There are two king bedrooms, one bunk bedroom, and a queen/twin bedroom each offering new deluxe, comfortable mattresses for a cozy night's sleep. With 4 bathrooms featuring large showers, guests can unwind in comfort. The master bedroom also has a large soaking tub with a large closet. Den, sunroom, kitchen, garage, laundry, Master and queen/twin bedroom are all on main level with no stairs. Enjoy the convenience of amenities including a laundry room with a full-sized washing machine and dryer, 7 flat-screen, smart tvs and free WiFi.
The kitchen has all the amenities needed for preparing gourmet meals and an eat in island with seating for 4.
The sunroom has a spacious seating area with a large sectional sofa and a dining table that seats 12. Two other seating areas, one with a cozy fireplace and the main den featuring two large sofas and two electric recliners provide spaces for families to relax or watch tv.
The covered, outdoor patio area has a wood burning fireplace, a grilling bar with a gas grill and an island bar that seats 4. The seating area features a dining table that seats 4 and 4 chairs for lounging and watching tv.
There is a large garage for parking on the front side of the home with an additional refrigerator and a huge circular driveway for parking in front of the home as well as in back of the home. The lot gently slopes down to the lake: no steps to climb to access dock or decks.
The boathouse decks have ample seating with a double-sided dock that may be used for docking boats and swimming if desired. The inside of the boathouse is not accessible for guests to use nor are the boats or jet skis on site.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Bag all trash, leftover food in refrigerator and pantry and place in cans located in garage. Take cans to road as you depart. Do not leave any food or condiments in cabinets or refrigerator.
Turn thermostat to 74 cool April - October and 65 heat November - March
Wash a load of white towels on hot with detergent. Do not wash or dry colored items with white towels.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A signed rental agreement is required prior to arrival date. Guest read, complete info, sign and return by email to owner.
Any person causing damage to boats or jet skiis will be prosecuted. Stay away from our boats and jet skiis. Stay out of boathouse. Do not swim under.
Boat owners/users are responsible for maintaining boater safety and protecting our boat dock and decks. Our personal boats are not for guest use.

Property is lovely; water views are spectacular! Kitchen was very well appointed and the house held all of our family for a wedding at Burns Bluff, which was also incredible! Our family enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the large dining area was perfect!

Spring Break 2025

Property was very well kept and clean. The lake was right at the back door with a wonderful dock area for fishing and a place to park our pontoon boat. Fishing was great right at the dock. Outdoor kitchen area with large TV was the perfect place to sit while keeping an eye on the kids. Can’t wait to stay again. Owner was very responsive and great to work with.

Great Place all around

We visit Lake Guntersville once a year for a long 4-day weekend, so we've rented a few different properties. This one was above and beyond any of the others we've stayed at. Absolutely beautiful house with a ton of top notch amenities. Waterfront with a great boat dock, open space, and plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable. Ronda reached out to me to welcome us and with a lot of great information. We'll absolutely be looking to come back next year. 5 Stars easy!

The house was perfect for my retirement getaway! The 4 bedrooms/bathrooms were very nice. We really enjoyed the sunroom and outside covered patio both facing the Guntersville Lake. I parked my boat at their dock which was very convenient. The Host communicated very well.

Our family grew up in Alabama and we enjoy water sports and outdoor activities. Guntersville Lake is easily accessible from our homes affording us many opportunities to gather for a long weekend to enjoy water activities or cozy around the fire and watch our favorite college football teams.

Why they chose this property

Wyeth Drive is a beautiful, safe and well manicured neighborhood with protected water but is accessible to the main channel by pontoon or ski boats. There are lots of animals to watch: otters, ducks, geese, eagles, chipmunks, an occasional deer and turtles.
We like to shop in the area.

What makes this property unique

-two den areas inside and a large covered patio so everyone can spread out and play games or watch tv, enjoy a book or have conversation.
-Multiple eating spaces also gives a group choices to gather for small meals or large family dining.
-NO steps to climb when going to the dock at the lake.
