Wonderful Lake Getaway – Just Be Ready for the Stairs! We had a great stay at Lake Haven, renting both the main and guest houses for a group of nine. The homes were clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the hosts were responsive throughout. The main house offers wonderful lake views, but be aware — there are lots of stairs, both inside and out. Multiple split levels, staircases to each room, and a longer set of tiled stairs that brings you down to the bar area and the back door to the multi-level deck that are a bit tricky and worth navigating with care. The guest house is cozy but also involves several stairs down to the water. We loved relaxing on the deck, taking the pontoon out, and enjoying the peaceful setting. Lake Haven is a great choice — just be sure your group is comfortable with lots of stairs and uneven footing, especially if you have small children or mobility concerns.
