Serenity and Comfort by the River

This place was pretty awesome from our perspective. We arrived and our personalized code opened the door to cool air and a Beautiful home. The kitchen and living areas were well laid out. The collection of cookbooks made me wish we had time for cooking. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. My husband was delighted that the shower was designed for tall people (no crouching down to wash his hair). And then there was the view! The river was gorgeous. My mom did a few watercolors sitting outside near the fire pit. We watched fireflies drift by while we were soaking in the hot tub. It felt like the world disappeared and it was just relaxing, even though town was just a little bit away, grocery store, great local restaurant, and even a Starbucks for a pre-hike pick me up! Definitely would stay again and recommend to a friend.

Absolutely wonderful! We usually drive to Tennessee, which is 4 hours from where we live, and this property is only 40 minutes from home. This place is very secluded, and it felt exactly like the Tennessee cabins we stay in. The hot tub is huge, and there is a great view of the river from the tub. We even saw two bald eagles fly down the river on our last morning. The fishing is great! I caught several bass, and saw some absolute monsters that I couldn't catch of course, lol. Highly recommended, and we will be going back soon!
