Vista Del Mar Beachfront Apartment in Casa Solana

Casa Solana has two apartments for rent and is located in the beautiful fishing village of Chuburna Puerto. This listing is for the Vista Del Mar Apartment which is the studio apartment with floor to ceiling ocean views. The studio is light and airy with a soaring 12’ ceilings and features a private entry, king bed, ensuite bathroom, full kitchen, free wi-fi and direct access to the beach. It is also spacious enough to be wheelchair friendly.

The studio is ideal for a single or mature couple looking for a peaceful and relaxing get-a-way. It is very quiet and tranquil but has all the modern conveniences of home including north american standard plumbing and electrical, a ceiling and a floor fan, full kitchen including a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster, flat screen TV with several local Mexican channels and a large selection of free movies (in English). Hammocks and beach towels are provided and air conditioning is available for an additional fee of $5 per night. Complimentary housekeeping service is provided once per week and additional cleaning is available for a nominal fee.

We have two very friendly dogs on site to welcome you. We call them guest services as they charm the socks off everybody! They are available to entertain you (or not) as you choose.

Chuburna Puerto is a charming little fishing village in the Yucatan. Known for its beautiful beaches and spectacular sunsets, this place is a breath of fresh air from the stress of daily life. You can walk for miles on our white sand beach, take a nap in your hammock or have a nice lazy swim in either the ocean or our pool.

For those of you that are into exploring, there are many Mayan ruins nearby, wonderful traditional Hacienda’s and beautiful under-ground sink holes called cenotes for swimming. We are a 20 minutes drive to Progreso, our port city. Here there is a much larger selection of restaurants and a full service grocery store. The amazing cosmopolitan city of Merida is 45 minutes away and it is a spectacular city ripe with culture, amazing architecture and museums and also provides shopping, restaurants and night life to those who cannot do without!

Come to Chuburna Puerto and relax in our beautiful beach side home, you will never want to leave!

Good place to relax

The owner should provide some lounge chairs for the terrace or the beach, it will be great . Also , owner should change the shower head in the bathroom. Other than that everything else was ok .

Hi Mia, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were looking for the lounge chairs. There are 4 available on the property for guests that can be used by the pool and taken out to the beach as well as a beach umbrella and hammocks for the front terrace. Thanks for the feedback on the shower head, I will check it.

Lovely studio apartment with a beach view. Great owners that we're friendly and helpful. Chuburna is a small, friendly village with all you need but is only 30 minutes away from Progresso if you'd like a bit more action or tourist attractions.
