About the host
Hosted by Harriet Landrieu

My family has been living in this neighborhood for over 70 years. I grew up around the corner from this house and am now back in my family home. My husband, son and I loved living in the house and after moving out decided to do short-term renting. Thus far, it is working out great and everyone that stays absolutely loves the house and the neighborhood. Hope you will too!!
What makes this property unique
The house has hardwood floors throughout and high ceilings. We renovated the house in 1999 from an old 1890's shotgun to a camelback - which is an upstairs addition on half of the house with two bedrooms and a bath. It is in a great location of uptown New Orleans, located on a dead-end to Audubon Park. Very quiet, family oriented neighborhood. Great for people who enjoy the outdoors, as you can wake up and take a leisurely walk around the park and then in the evenings take a walk up to the river and catch a beautiful sunset.
