Great Family Stay in South Haven

This was our first time visiting South Haven, and we really enjoyed it. The town is beautiful, and visiting in June turned out to be a great choice. The weather was mild, and the crowds were light.The house was a great fit for our family. It was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is full of vacation rentals, so it was a bit noisy on a few evenings, but overall the area felt well managed.We loved how walkable everything was. It’s a straight half-mile to the beach, which made it easy to come and go. The walk into town was also convenient, and we enjoyed going out for dinner and ice cream in the evenings.One helpful note: if you're like me and tend to skim descriptions, be sure to notice that using the golf cart requires an extra fee. It’s mentioned in the listing, but I overlooked it at first.We had a small issue with the fire alarm system after a storm-related power outage, but the host was responsive, helpful, and apologetic.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would definitely return.

So Heaven is a beautiful, very clean and updated home! I felt like I was in my own kitchen. We have never rented a vacation home that is SO WELL STOCKED! It has every pot, pan, bakeware, utensils, small appliances, so many dishes, cups, plates, and silverware, even chip clips, plastic bags and wrap, aluminum foil, etc. We spend 5 nights there with our sons and their young families (6 adults and 2 toddlers total) we had plenty of room and didn't even use one of the queen bedrooms or the bunkbed room. The beds were extremely comfortable! The finished basement was perfect for our oldest son's family. Even the murphy bed was comfortable, the huge full bathroom, and family room gave them privacy, and our grandbabies could rest well without hearing everyone else upstairs. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome cooler bag filled with goodies. The property managers were great about making sure we didn't need anything the day we checked in and made sure we had contact info if there were any issues or questions during our stay. The neighborhood/area is very safe and quiet, the only thing I wish it had was a yard for the kids to play in and more parking (this is no fault of the homeowner/manager) the houses are just close together. The pool is a 1 minute walk if that and the beach is maybe a 5 minute drive. I would definitely stay there again and recommend Mandy and Ashley to anyone. Thank you for being so professional and helpful!!
