Stocked with everything you need for a beach trip. Plenty of kitchen accessories to cook your own meals even for 12 guests. Everyone has their own space with plenty of rooms and beds.

Family Vacation

The property was very clean, had plenty of room for 9 people and is located in a great location. We could get to the beach or downtown in less than 10 minutes and were able to watch the 4th of July parade from the fornt porch. We really enjoyed our stay in South Haven!

This was a nice house with a good size kitchen which was stocked with lots of pots, pans, griddle, and utensils along with a large dining room area. The beds were comfortable and owner answered our call immediately.

Great for family/large get together.

Large residence that accommodated 14 of our members. Six blocks from beach/Lake Michigan and about 1/2 mile from the middle of town. Plenty of frig space and the grill worked great. Sitting on either porch was a real treat for all of us from hotter parts of the country.

Fantastic family vacatuon rental

This is a large house with plenty of room for families large and small. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the game room with toys and books for all ages. It is an easy walk to the beach and downtown. We had one plumbing issue while there, but it was handled very quickly. Jerry was a very attentive host and I would highly recommend this rental.

Amenities Galore!

We just returned from a wonderful week spent at 704 Kalamazoo St. in South Haven. The 6 bedroom 3 bathroom home exceeded our expectations. It is located 5 walkable blocks from Lake Michigan and close to two trails for biking and running and within walking distance of town. From the well-appointed full kitchen to the large new washer and dryer to the very comfortable beds ( including 3 kings!) to the special screened-in front porch all 12 of us had our needs fully met. Even our teenagers had no complaints and expressed a desire to stay longer! We have stayed at many summer rental properties, and this big house far surpassed all of the others.

For the most part the house was clean, well stocked andconvenient to downtown.However, the there are three things that are needed. There is no hand mixer there and it is very difficult to cook without one. The stairs to the 2ndfloor are “ an accident waiting to happen.” The handrail to go up the first two steps & you had to reach for the rail on the upper part of the stairs. Very difficult to navigate. You NEED a hand rail to get in the back door! There is nothingto hold onto, especially with your hands full of overnight bags, groceries, etc. A brighter light in the living room and bedrooms. We DID enjoy our stay there but feel these things need addressed.

We are two brothers that were born and raised in southeast Michigan area. We absolutely love South Haven and made it our go to place for memory making family vacations. We hope you enjoy your time in making your own memories at our home.

Why they chose this property

The house was originally built in 1902 and has some unique character and charm. The location is fantastic just a few blocks from playground and public South Beach and close to downtown just a short stroll down Kalamazoo st.

What makes this property unique

We are one of few large rentals in the area and have grandfathered rights to sleep up to 16 guest. The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on main floor, and 4 additional bedrooms, game room loft, and large newly remodeled bathroom upstairs. The house includes (4) King size beds, (2) queen beds, (5) twin beds, and a double sized futon in the upstairs loft. There are 2 large outside porches and a covered patio in the backyard. The house is fully stocked covering everything you will need for a great stay! Oh and the sunsets never get old in this one of kind historic home.
