About this property

Welcome to St. John’s Hollow Retreat! Charming 3-bedroom house outside of Tiffin

Welcome to St. John’s Hollow Retreat! This secluded, wooded property has a three-bedroom house with 2 full baths, a large living room, and a finished basement which includes a wood burner and pool table. This is a great place if you’re looking to get away and enjoy nature. The house has an outside deck that oversees a ravine and creek. There’s also plenty of outdoor space if you’d like to have a bonfire.

A small cottage, also used as a rental is located at the back of the property.

Guests will be able to call or text the hosts anytime during their stay. Keyless code will be given to the guests to access Saint John’s Hollow Retreat. Host will provide firewood if guests would like to have a bonfire outside.

Free-range, fresh, farm eggs are available upon request.

The basement/game room wood burner can be used during the winter months (only when all guests are adults). The host will provide firewood and start the fire. Guests should not leave the house while there is a fire in the wood burner. Guests should not touch the wood burner while in use as it will get very hot.

Perfect place to get ready for a wedding at Everhart Gathering Place. Much better than the hotels we heard weren’t very nice for the value.

Family X-mas

Our family was having X-mas near Tiffin and my family of 8 was a bit much to impose on my sisters so we happened to look on VRBO and found this retreat.Everything was awesome! Listing was accurate, property manager was easy and pleasant to deal with. So much better than a couple hotel rooms. We will definitely use this again when going back for family events!

Perfect country spot for your trip to Tiffin, the shrine in Carey, and more!

Spacious accommodations in a lovely country setting near Tiffin and the shrine at Carey. It is run by a lovely family that lives nearby. The house has not one but TWO decks to enjoy in good weather. Even in late fall we had the pleasure of watching a woodpecker from the dining room window. Relax among the trees during your visit to Tiffin or the shrine in Carey!
