This 5th floor premier condo has a large, screened in balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. You have access to the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom where you will see spectacular sunsets. The décor is traditional and comfortable. The updated kitchen is fully equipped and you are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. Your condo has a washer and dryer for your use as well as free internet service. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of a designated outside smoking area. Villa Madeira is a direct beachfront building right in the middle of quaint Madeira Beach, a small beach town that is approximately 2 miles long. Consisting of 50 units; all units face West so all will have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from their private, screened in balconies.

We actually booked this unit for 2 weeks, and the owners had friends in the unit the 1st week, so we got bumped. This was not a great experience. The resort management company found us another place, but having to waste a whole day repacking up, and then waiting for this unit to be ready to move into was not acceptable.

Unit is nice with a perfect view of the ocean. The complex is still under construction and repair from the hurricane.

Beautiful, sunny getaway

We stayed at Villa Madeira 506 for 7 days. It's a beautiful rental with every amenity we needed. We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants, shops, and the proximity of St Pete/ Clearwater for museums. The beach area is pristine and quiet. The pool was well maintained and never overcrowded. This spot is truly a gem. We will rent it again and recommend it to friends!

Great beach and town

Easy and we'll communicated check in process. The condo was really showing its age but the vrbo pictures were accurate. The kitchen was not stocked well at all and the AC was difficult to balance between the bedrooms. Very nice beach and convenient town restaurants and shopping.

Spectacular View trumped the dirty floors

When we first arrived we noticed that several items were not cleaned - most notably the floors. Our feet were covered in dirt the first time we walked across them! A few areas in the bathrooms and some of the dishes had also not been touched. We reached out to the resort company and they responded right away, but never rectified the situation. We went out and got cleaning supplies ourselves. But the spectacular view tainted our image of the condo concerns. This view, layout of condo, proximity to the beach and John Pass, made us want to possibly stay here again - as long as it's cleaned better next time.

The property was beautiful! Great furniture and the beds were very comfortable. Check in was horrible, leasing company very hard to work with. I reported that the toilet was running non stop. From that day to 5 days later when we left it still wasn't fixed. I felt bad for the owner because I know what that does to your water bill. I was never told where to pick up the keys. So I called the leasing company, and was told look in your portal. I asked 4 times for the address. They just repeated look in your portal. I'm in town and on my cell phone, just give me the darn address. After that She finally gave it to me. My frustration with check in was horrible. In a nut shell the property was great! Check in was a nightmare!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have always loved Villa Madeira but this was the worst of the condos I have stayed in. The balcony door didn’t lock & the blinds in the living room & master bedroom were broken. It would have been nice to have more items for guests to use on the beach. I will stay at Villa Madeira again but not this particular condo. My 4 star overall ranking is because I love the beach & condo location.

Not Accurate Description or Pictures

This unit was a terrible disappointment and waste of money. Save yourself the trouble, and allergic reaction that we suffered. We noticed upon arrival that the unit smelled musty. The smell got worse each day of our stay. We ended up leaving 2 days early due to the moldy smell and sickness it caused (sneezing, coughing, headaches, eyes burning). We also questioned the safety of this unit. The screen was broken on the deck, the patio door does not fully close, and also doesn't even have a lock. The screen on the front bedroom window had obviously been tamped with prior to our arrival and not repaired. Screen was broken and the window was not locked. The unit was filthy. The kitchen had food/dirt left on the floor and in the sink. The living room rug is disgusting and turned socks black. The kitchen is ill equipped and hardly has any cookware or utensils. The dishwasher also doesn't work. Guest bath sink is broken (stopper stuck in closed position). 3rd bedroom is not even really a bedroom, its a laundry room with no window. The photo shows a couch, but there's really only a small ottoman in the room. Addressed this with staff at Resort Rentals when we checked out early and they seemed uninterested in our issues and definitely not helpful.

To make it perfect I would update/remove old carpets and mats. Also, the cleaning company could have done a better job or left supplies so we could clean up after ourselves.

Great Beach Front Location

We really enjoyed the property and especially the amazing sunset views. Property could definitely use some updating, but everything is in pretty good condition considering the age. You can't really beat the location... Very well appointed, much everything you need.
