golf trip to Shangri La

Excellent with small exception of front door locking mechanism.

Hi Kenneth, the lock on the front door is very standard for that type of contemporary door. We figured out the issue within 5 mins when you called. Instructions were also listed in the welcome guide. I don’t believe this caliber of property deserves a 4 star review based on the fact that you didn’t know how to use a lock.

Beautiful vacation home on Grand Lake filled with amenities! Four very comfortable bedrooms upstairs, 3 with en-suite bathrooms w/showers, and a hall bathroom w/shower for the 4th bedroom and upstairs living area. The open concept kitchen, living room, dining was nice and big with an excellent selection of spices and all the necessary utensils for indoor and outdoor cooking and eating. It has a wonderful deck overlooking the lake and lots of comfortable seating, a hot tub and porch games to play. Management company was easy to reach with a timely response. We will stay here again!!

The house was gorgeous and the views were spectacular. However, after having a couple cups of coffee we discovered that the Hamilton Beach pot had quite a bit of mold growing in it. The microwave also couldn't get hot enough to pop popcorn and would take about four minutes to melt butter. The mold that was drank is the reason for the poor review. Otherwise the place was great.

Jessica, thanks for the nice comments on the property and the view! We have taken steps to avoid the coffee maker having mold in the future by adding to the cleaners list to take pics of the coffee maker after each cleaning. We are a little puzzled as to how someone would drink mold when you can view the inside of the coffee pot when you add the grounds to make coffee. The microwave must have been a setting as it was checked after your departure and there were no issues. We understand that the coffee pot was a disappointment but this is a gorgeous well kept property that doesn’t deserve a 3 star review over a minor issue.
