About this property

Riverfront Cabin for Two, Perfect Getaway! Summer- Weekly only Sat. to Sat.

Located in the town of Old Forge, one block from Rt. 28, with dock on the middle branch of the Moose River. Bring your own kayaks or canoe ,tie them to our dock and paddle anytime you want. Rentals are available locally.

VERY NICE PROPERTY, BUT DOWN A HILL ON A PATH TO THE RIVER'S EDGE, LOTS OF WALKING UP AND DOWN THE HILL TO THE ROAD, NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE WITH A WALKING PROBLEM. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSABLE. Parking is at the road level offstreet.

Cabin sits right on the Moose River and it right next to the dock. Its worth the walk. Beautiful setting.

Fully equipped kitchen, Dining area, Living room with gas fireplace, Skylight, Large gable window, Cathedral ceilings. Bedroom with twin beds. Bathroom with new cedar shower. Lovely screened porch. Nice yard with Adirondack chairs. Walk to shops, food store, and movies Wireless internet included. Our cabin has a short term rental permit issued by the Town of Old Forge and meets all the safty requirements.

Weekends- Spring and Fall - two night minimum
3 night minimum for Holiday weekends. Spring and Fall -MemorialDay weekend--Columbus weekend

Awesome little cabin right on the riverfront, walking distance to downtown. We were able to launch our kayaks right from the dock, even though the river was low .we saw ducks a mink and two coyotes on the riverbank.

Wonderful little cabin, cozy and clean. Plenty of books and games if there is inclement weather. Lots of kitchen equipment and dishes. Chairs and a small table by the dock. Beautifully decorated with a definate adirondack cabin feel. Perfect base camp for hiking, biking and paddling.

Awesome Little Cabin!

This was an amazing cabin and owner. Couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s a perfect location walkable to Old Forge shops and stores yet tucked away enough to be your own quiet little oasis. The owner is amazing and provided great communication! Highly recommend!

Spring getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. We enjoyed the gas fireplace to take the morning chill off. Location was lovely on the river. We got to watch the ducks, their babies and other wildlife. Paddling was lovely, fire pit and Adirondack chairs perfect. Property was described accurately.

We enjoyed SiSi Cabin. We only wish we could have stayed longer! It rained hard but felt cozy with the fireplace on. You have a beautiful setting alongside the river. We hope to come again soon!

Moose River Retreat

Very cute cabin right on the Moose River. Very clean and we'll stocked with everything we needed. Enjoyed watching all of the wildlife, the deer, ducks, beaver, mink and fishing off the dock. The cabin is located on a quiet side street right in the village and walking distance to everything.

End of summer trip

Always enjoy the quaint lil cabin on the Moose River in Old Forge. Such a peaceful place and close to everything in town with a short walk. The weather was complimentary this trip and close to a full moon. We even had a boat ride on the Fulton chain with our family as they couldn’t resist stopping by the park and picking us up. We had a nice lunch at Daiker’s on 4th lake with the family. Super trip.This is our third time there.

A wonderful Adirondack Experience

This is such a great place to stay in Old Forge. Easy walk to downtown, but you also get a sense of remoteness as you are right on the river. Chalet is small but that is all we needed. Saw some notes in other reviews about the walk down, but it really was not an issue. Thank you Claire and hope to be back again,

Beautiful cottage in a great location!

This place was beautiful, charming and the location could not be better. It’s right on the moose river and very quiet but also a very short walk from the neighborhood into the town for anything you may want. The amenities were everything we needed, we were able to buy groceries and cook with ease which we very much appreciated. The owners are friendly and gracious hosts and the communication was great. My wife and I had a wonderful time! 10/10
