Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip. Excellent location. It took some getting used to the pool being not on beach level, but it was not bad. The water area in the middle and one hot tub was down the whole time during our stay, but we was able to enjoy the other pools.

The view was great. Unit was nice. However in the description of the place, it should be stated weight for bunk beds instead of in the agreement after the fact. I’ve stayed at Sunrise last May and loved it so I came back. I loved how the property was always being monitored and cleaned. This time around it was so much. I love a clean place and don’t like to see debris or garbage around. I’d come back for sure!

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We were just unaware that the property (Sunrise) was having construction that required closing of the pools on one side and crews going by our window in scaffolding.

Just what we needed!

Our family has been through a lot the last few months so we decided to book a last minute trip for us to recoup, relax, and just reconnect as a family. This condo had everything we needed and was the perfect size for our family plus our nanny. We loved the view, the close proximity to not only the beach but to (really good) restaurants and pier park! We were able to walk to most of the places we visited which was wonderful. My kids loved the pools and the mushroom splash pad, my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub, and we all enjoyed using the reserved lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach. I hope we’re able to stay again in the future. Everything was perfect!

Easy parking, clean, great security, no elevator issues. Close enough for the kids to walk to Pier Park in the evenings. Enjoyed the state park and shuttle service to Shell Island. Fishing with Capt. Anderson's head boat was just OK as well as the beach... but that is fishing. Overall, we will come back to this location.-- Mark Columbus, Ohio

Condo was just as pictured, although the bunk room was smaller than expected. We didn’t need it for our stay so no big deal. The condo was clean, but could have used a little better mopping as one of our children took her shoes off and after walking around the condo for an hour the bottom of her feet where black. Remote was missing from master, but luckily the remote from the living room worked both areas. Overall the complex was centrally located to several restaurants and shopping, but some of the rules were a little over the top. One day/evening the pool was closed and we heard it was due to a chlorine issue. Girls got in trouble for playing with a ball in the pool even though no one besides my husband and myself were in the pool with them. Overall it was a beautiful view and an enjoyable vacation.

The place could use a good cleaning. Floors were very dirty. Our feet got very dirty/ black after walking on the floor. Gob of hair in kitchen sink drain. I’m only to assume that’s where mop water was dumped and sink not cleaned afterwards. Bunk beds bit squeaky but served the purpose. Had issue with the tv in the master but maintenance took care of it. Couple other small things but nothing that needed immediate attention. Location was great. Pools were great. Only wish the splash had been working. Host was very easy to get in touch with. Elevators had issues as they were working on them. Long wait times occasionally. Overall our stay was good. Would stay again.Hopefully new cleaning company would do a better job.
