This beautifully renovated 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home offers a rare opportunity to experience a classic 1850s Charleston Single House with all the modern amenities like an elevator that takes you to the second floor. Originally built by William Henry Houston, the home boasts two iconic Charleston single piazzas with views of the Dewberry Hotel and surrounding landmarks, offering a peaceful retreat with refreshing breezes. The surrounding Garden District offers charming parks and green spaces, and the home comes equipped with a gas grill and backyard patio for your enjoyment and entertainment.
The property offers on-site parking for up to 3 cars in tandem, including a Tesla charger. Please note, like many historic Charleston homes, parking is tight as it was designed with horse-drawn carriages in mind.
The spacious second-floor master suite features a king-sized bed, smart TV, walk-in closet, and an en suite bath with a double vanity. The elevator runs from this room to the kitchen below. Down the hall, there is an office with a day bed and trundle, perfect for extra guests or children, and this office has its own small full bathroom. The second-floor guest room also features a king-sized bed and a full bath.
On the third floor, you’ll find a queen-sized bed in one room and a smaller room with a day bed and trundle. These two rooms share a small full bath. The home comfortably sleeps 7-8 people, including two couples and up to 6 children. The fully stocked kitchen includes a microwave, gas cooktop, double ovens, and an ice maker. Tenants are limited to 30 years of age and over and are required to sign a lease contract and pay a security deposit. There is a 30 night minimum.
