Relaxing and Affordable Harbour Town Villa Getaway, Close to Beach and Hiking
Hey y'all! Family owned since it was built, our townhouse is cozily nestled in the safe, gated community Sea Pines Resort near the southwest corner of Hilton Head Island, just steps away from Harbour Town Marina in Sea Pines. --- Behind, is the Sea Pines Racquet Club, and in front, the beautiful, recently updated and well-maintained bike/walking path. (Altogether, there are 20 miles of these trails!) --- The world famous Harbour Town Golf Links, Heron Point and Ocean Golf Courses are within 1/2 mile. (also recently updated) --- In Harbour Town, you can enjoy fantastic dining at various restaurants, shops, live music, and spectacular sunsets. There's also a nice playground and wonderful views of the bay...especially from the lighthouse! You can also rent boats, jet skis, or charter a fishing boat. There's even a dinner cruise to Savannah! --- The Sea Pines Beach Club is about a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride. The free Sea Pines Trolley runs frequently in-season and also stops right in front across the street to take you to the beach, the Sea Pines Center and the South Beach Marina (another cute lil scenic spot with shops and restaurants, home of the infamous Salty Dog Cafe) --- If pools are your thing, our Heritage Villa Pool is privately tucked away inside the complex of townhouses. --- Horseback riding at Lawton Stables and the wildlife/nature preserve are also minutes from the unit inside Sea Pines! --- At it's greatest points, the island is 10 miles long and 5 miles wide. So, should you choose to venture out of Sea Pines, there are plenty more activities, restaurants, and fun, all of which can be easily accessed by car or taxi...and yes, bicycle! *** The master bedroom has a full bath and queen size double bed. The guest bedroom has twin beds, full bath. There is also a queen sleeper pullout sofa bed in the living room. If you choose to use the pullout, please provide your own sheets as the cleaning team will only leave linens and towels for 4 persons. An up charge will apply if you request a "sofa pack". Our villa is 1620 sq. ft., and comfortably sleeps up to 6. --- A great many of our guests have returned time and time again! ***** We have: NEWLY PURCHASED 2017 40 INCH FLAT SCREEN HDTV DIGITAL CABLE TV, INTERNET WITH WIFI,, LINENS AND TOWELS FOR 4 PERSONS, SLEEP SOFA (BRING QUEEN SHEETS BLANKET AVAILABLE) 3 OR MORE BEACH CHAIRS, 2 TENNIS EXHIBITION CHAIRS, LARGE ROLLING COOLER, 2 BEACH UMBRELLAS, BEACH GAMES, CHILDREN'S SAND TOYS, BOOGIE BOARDS, VARIOUS RAIN GEAR, BOXED GAMES, DECK OF CARDS, NEW WASHER (2016) AND NEW DRYER (2021), RELAXING AND SCENIC BACK PORCH AREA W/4 CHAIRS, GORGEOUS AND SECLUDED POOL NEARBY, CENTRAL AC, FAN IN MASTER BEDROOM: CHECK IN 4 PM.....CHECK OUT 10 AM ***** FYI: We apologize for any lack of vacancy. Coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, baking pans, mixer, griddle pan, dutch oven, cake pans, roasting pans, serving dishes, measuring cups and spoons, storage bowls with lids, colander, pitchers. Matching dishware, (dinner size, salad, bowls) place mats, glasses and cutlery for 6 or more. Dining table with 4 chairs plus 2 from the living area. Digital cable and internet. Private patio. .Basic cleaning supplies. Parking area out front.
The unit is a spacious two level townhouse with a 1/2 bath downstairs and sleeper sofa in the large living room (sheets extra). There are no stairs to the front entry. Carpeted stairs are inside leading to the second floor. There is a also a dining area, laundry room and kitchen as well as a large foyer. The rear kitchen door was recently replaced (2016) and should only be used for access to the electric panel or the garbage area. There are sliders in back which lead to the patio (new cordless vertical blinds 2017) Right outside back you can see the world class tennis courts and Harbour Town golf links (extra charge). when you go out the front, you can access the leisure trails which will take you to fabulous amenities in both directions. Harbour Town is to the left and Sea Pines Center is to the right. The stable is across and up the road at Plantation drive. Our pool which is included is located at the rear of the parking lot past the mailboxes and gaezbo. Follow the signs and pass the lagoon. WIFI is available there.
The Sea Pines Beach Club is for resort owners and guests and can be reached by car or bike. In season, there is usually a trolley. Turn right outside the lot and go to the circle where you will find signs for the amenities access of which is included with your stay (beach, salty dog marina, forest preserve, sea pines center, Harbour Town). The vehicle pass is your entry for designated dates.
The master and twin bedrooms are upstairs. There is a large landing in between. The twin beds are in the front and there is a bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom is in the rear of the unit overlooking the tennis courts, with its own bathroom including a tub and a shower. There are plenty of closets and drawers for storage.
The closet under the stairs is the recreational closet and there are numerous beach supplies (previously described). Please bring your own beach towels.
There is a brand new July 2020 dual element electronic range. The laundry room has a new electronic washer (2016) and electric dryer. (2021). There is also an updated iron (2017) and ironing board. Some laundry soap is provided along with dish soap, dishwasher packs, paper towels and light bulbs.
There are new cordless blinds in the living and dining areas (2017). There is a new garbage disposal and a new fridge in the kitchen (2017).
Garbage is picked up on Weds. and recycling is done on Sat. Bike rentals are low in cost at Sea Pines Center. The electronic lock will be activated automatically when you shut the front door so always take your key code when you depart for the day.
There are gorgeous new couches in the living room for 2019. The couch downstairs is a new queen sleeper. All of the bedroom furniture in both bedrooms have been replaced and updated 2019. There are new headboards, foot boards, frames and mattresses for all 3 beds upstairs (queen in master and twins in guest bedroom). There are new night tables in both bedrooms and new clothes drawers in both bedrooms.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check out time is 10:00 AM sharp. The cleaners have already been booked and will arrive as scheduled.
Make sure the patio and kitchen doors are locked. The front door lock resets when the door is closed.
Your key code will expire promptly. Be sure to take all of your belongings when you depart.

We are the original owners of this lovely villa and we have spent many wonderful vacations in Sea Pines, watching the Family Circle Cup Tennis tournament and listening to Todd Ballantine share ecological tidbits about the Island. We know first hand how the resort grew into what it has become today. On a recent visit this winter, I noticed many upgrades in the physical landscape-new plantings, more open spaces, better lighting. New top notch facilities all over Sea Pines have been opened for tourists visiting since the 2014 season. The Resort maintains it's safe, comfortable low-key surroundings in spite of the modern forthcoming additions. Many new amenities have made this perfect place to vacation.
Renting the villa to families that enjoy the atmosphere gives us great joy. We love hearing about your positive experiences in this pristine neighborhood. Families return to this spot year after year because it is beautiful, peaceful and serene. The Sea Pines Resort makes every effort to accommodate visitors from all over. It is refreshing to see so many different people enjoying this special, natural place. It is worthwhile coming any time of the year as there are activities planned for every season.
We typically enjoy the warmer weather, the Spanish moss on the trees and the flat sand on the beach at low tide. The broad beach is a great place to ride bikes, play ball, relax and read or take a nature walk.
We love the fact that the leisure trails are interconnected and very walkable. It feels good to be able to walk to amenities in the area.
Sitting outside on the spacious patio, we can observe nature up close. There are numerous birds that frequent the trees above, some of which are native to the semi-tropical climate. It is interesting to see the tennis players on the clay courts as well.

Why they chose this property
We are currently renting and will one day be able to enjoy more time there during our retirement. Frequent visits allow us to monitor the condition of the home's many offerings. We appreciate guests who respect our property and recognize the care that goes into upkeep. It is a home not a hotel, complete with the trappings of a comfortable lifestyle. We make timely updates as is reasonable for our budget and to keep the rents affordable for families. If you are looking for contemporary new construction, you will not find it here.

We really appreciate not having to use the vehicle after the long drive to this destination. There are shops that offer the best of many items-apparel, art, toys, food supplies, beverages and sundries. The restaurants nearby prepare some of the best food on the island.
The dock nearby has a gazebo that offers a great view of the ships traveling across the Calibogue sound. There are watersports galore to peruse (additional fees apply).
Homemade ice cream is available at the cinnamon bear in Harbour town. Many folks, visitors and residents alike, can be seen eating ice cream and watching the sun drop down along the horizon at dusk. There are benches all along the perimeter to promote dawdling.

The view from the master bedroom has always conjured images of a truly satisfying vacation-the tennis whites and numerous trees in the backyard. The little patio in back was forever conducive to quality socializing. Back in the day, concerts were performed by Hargray on the tennis court behind the villa, making free entertainment a bonus of this particular dwelling for several years. You really cannot beat the prime location. It is within a short walking distance to Harbour town and Sea Pines Center.
We provide beach gear which is appreciated by many who have come from afar. While additional chairs can be rented on the beach, it is nice to be able to use the ones we have provided. We also provide a large cooler which is an asset when traveling with children.
Many guests like the selection of board games we have to help squelch boredom on rainy days.
