While fully separate and secure, you may hear some normal household noise from time to time, as our family lives in the adjoining space. We maintain a peaceful environment and observe quiet hours. We’re happy to welcome well-behaved, house-trained pets (flat $75 pet fee).

Please note that the rental is a private lock-off attached to our family home, where we live with two young children. You may occasionally hear normal household sounds, but we’re always respectful and mindful of our guests’ comfort.

This space is perfect for travelers who want to explore the beautiful surrounding area and return to a cozy, comfortable place to unwind.

We also welcome children and can offer sleeping pads and bedding upon request.

The room is furnished with a queen bed, TV, fireplace with an electric insert, table, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, utensils and plate ware. There is an attached private bathroom with bathtub and closet space for your belongings. You may enjoy the views from a private deck on the outside of your private entrance.

Our home is a close drive to the beaches & restaurants of Capitola, Aptos, & Santa Cruz, guests enjoy the sounds of nature & views of redwood & oak trees from the deck of your room. Steps from Nisene Marks State Park.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

No amplified sound is allowed outdoors at any time.

We take noise violations seriously. Complaints may result in a $150 call-out fee, and county fines of up to $1,500 per incident.

The property may be equipped with privacy-safe noise monitors.

🐻 Trash & Wildlife Safety

All trash must be secured with provided latches to prevent bear tampering.

Failure to follow this policy may lead to fines or early removal.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

Absolutely no smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.

A $150 smoke remediation fee will apply if this rule is broken.

🛑 Damage & Conduct

Please report any damage or issues right away.

Tampering with smoke detectors, damaging property, or unauthorized changes may result in immediate removal and charges for repairs or replacement.

🎥 Cameras & Monitoring

Exterior security cameras may be in use.

Video is reviewed if there`s a complaint or concern. Cameras are placed in outdoor common areas only, where privacy is not expected (in line with Airbnb policy).

🐾 Pets

Pets are welcome only with prior approval and payment of the pet fee.

🚗 Parking

Please park only in designated spaces.

Street parking is not permitted.

You access the room via a private entrance to the rear of the house. There are 3 stairway steps in order to access the sliding glass door entrance. There is direct hiking and mountain biking access from the unit. Just ask hosts for details about the trails.

Although we live in the home, we will not be available in person. Please reach out to us via the messaging . If you happen to see us around, feel free to approach or ask for assistance.

Steps from Nicene Marks State Park. Walk out our front door for a mountain bike ride, a beautiful walk or strenuous hike in the redwoods. We are ideally situated in the heart of some of the region`s best single track mountain biking straight out of the driveway. Five minutes to Capitola beach and village. For surfers, we are just minutes from The Hook and world class Pleasure Point. Fifteen minutes to downtown Santa Cruz.

One-half mile from bus lines that take you throughout the entire county. Approximately one mile from Cabrillo Community College. Plenty of parking.

- Any guests in addition to the verified booking guest must be announced at time of booking. No unannounced guests.
