Maximum if 4 guest only no exceptions, no pets, no exceptions. The number of guest approved for your stay is the number you are welcome to have. No additional guest in space designated to hang out or dock. Lower level dock for tenants use only.

New to the cottage Spectrum WIFI!

If you have a boat there is a 25 foot dock that has accommodated a 32 foot boat. You can launch your boat at Dewolf State Park and please leave your trailer there or on the road pull off just past the Park. Not in the parking lot please or on the road in front of the parking lot to allow mail and garbage delivery! Thanks:)
The newly renovated COTTAGE is a private, this is a 2nd floor apartment quarters in a 2 story white cottage! This home in the heart of Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands. Warm water swimming off your own dock! Weekend rates apply to holidays that fall on a week day.
Inside you will find a 180 degree view of Lake of the Isles, 2 bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, 1 air conditioning unit, and sitting area overlooking the lovely Lake of the Isles. The whole inside is newer and beautiful! Living room furniture new 2020,.
The master bedroom has a full size bed. The second bedroom has a sofa that folds out to a queen bed. There is another pull-out sofa in the living room too, also a queen new in 2020. The newer bathroom features a beautifully tiled travertine shower. A full kitchen is ready for you with a huge peninsula for casual dining and entertaining! Eat your breakfast overlooking the water! The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and pots and pans you will need, as well as a coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker and toaster.

*Please bring your own bedsheets and towels. Drinking water. Housekeeping services are not included.

PLEASE LEAVE THE COTTAGE AS YOU FOUND IT AND YOUR CLEANING FEE WILL BE MAILED BACK TO YOU! LIGHT UPKEEP.

*Although there are two filtration systems I suggest bring drinking water.
*Outside you will find your own upper deck area and 1st floor landing with grill provided for outdoor cooking.
*There is also a WATER level BROWN deck AND BLUE dock for your suntanning, swimming, and boating desires. You are welcome to dock your boat. Electric will be an additional $40 per night. No additional guest please are permitted.
*OWNERS DECK AND SIDE STONE YARD ARE PRIVATE PLEASE.
*Private off street parking provided please park against the hill. No boat trailer storage on property there is room at Dewolf State Park to launch and store your trailer and is very inexpensive. Walking distance from the cottage!
Garbage green can and recyclable on lower level. There are no keys to use a security code will be text to you after payment and should be used to enter the property and lock the property.

Great location

This cottage was perfect for my son and I. We rented a boat and were able to dock it at the property. By boat it is very close to Boldt Castle and Alex Bay. It is also very quiet since it is tucked inside a bay on the island.

Beautiful lake side property with all of the amenities. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating/bedding. The perfect home away from home where you can relish in the peace and quiet of nature.

Wonderful Island Cottage

This property was so nice! The rental is clean and well maintained and the furnishings and fixtures are lovely. We absolutely loved the view out of all of the windows, especially the picture window, and we really enjoyed exploring Wellesley Island and the 1000 Islands area in general. The owner was very pleasant and quick to respond if we had any issues. If you are considering this place, don't hesitate.

Relaxion and fun

We loved this property. The views of the lake were beautiful. We woke up to the most wonderful sunrises right from our rooms. We enjoyed the private dock and the lake was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Lynnore was so helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to eat and for letting us use the kayaks. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed going to the nature center and beach at the state park and Alexandria Bay and Clayton were very close. We hope to come back soon! This place was perfect for myself, my husband, our son and his wife. The dock was great for our 24 foot boat. The guys fished all week. We enjoyed some spectacular morning sunrises from our windows upstairs. It was so easy to come and go by boat to explore the Lake of the Isles and the St. Lawrence River. We loved the view as we cooked and ate our meals either upstairs or on the deck below that was our hang out spot. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I t was quiet and peaceful during our week there.. The host was wonderful. I would recommend this place.

Wellesley Island Getaway

The apartment was just as advertised. It is clean, quiet, right on the waterfront, and the owner is super friendly. It is a cute little apartment full of windows and lake views. On the island there are multiple state parks, and awesome little nature center, hiking trails, beautiful flora and fauna. The Thousand Islands Club restaurant was delicious. There is a ton to explore, and it is an outdoorsman's paradise. There is a dock for a boat and world class fishing. Alexandria Bay and Clayton are within 10-15 minutes, and there are plently of attractions. This was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend! One issue was the size of the beds. I am a huge guy, and it was a little tough figuring out where to sleep. It gets hot up there, so use the AC!

If you want to be babysat by the owner this is your place to stay

Owner babysat our stay making it very uncomfortable to stay at the property. She also charges a cleaning fee when booking the reservation and states that if you leave the cottage as you found it that you will receive a refund of your deposit. The place was left as clean as it was when we walked in with the rugs vacuumed and the tile swiffered however she REFUSED to refund the cleaning fee. She wants the place clean, but she doesn't clean the spider webs all over the house. Would not stay there again. It was also VERY HOT in there not an ideal vacation spot. There is only an in room air conditioner unit not central air. When we arrived it was about 94 degrees in the house and all night really hot and next day it continued to be 84 degrees the entire day. If you want to sweat all day and night and be babysat stay HERE!!!

Perfect fishing getaway.

Our previous fishing plans fell through and we were lucky to find this rental semi last minute. The owner has just refurbished this property inside and out. It was perfect for two of us. There is one bedroom and another sitting room that can be used as a second bedroom with supplied mattress. There was also a fold out couch in the living room which we didn’t use. Good dishes, cookware, utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender were in the kitchen. An AWESOME gas grill outside was put to use for steak and chicken dinners…. Outdoor cooking utensils supplied. We needed a sizable dock and theirs was in excellent condition and more than large enough for a 21’ boat with 4 feet of depth. The outdoor deck had brand new chairs and lounge chairs on brand new decking with beautiful landscaping. Perfect for chilling at the end of the day. The views were beautiful from inside and out. The owner was prompt to answer any questions we had. And….. we had really good fishing.

Location is perfect, but slightly hard to navigate to. Space was very efficiently organized and clean. WiFi wasn’t great. You have to bring your own linens for bedroom. Need clear instructions for all the remotes and electronics.

Beautiful Anniversary Weekend Getaway

My husband and I have been coming to the Thousand Islands area for many years and have stayed at many different places but this was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed! Everything in this apartment, which is right on the water, was totally updated, so clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully by the owner Lynnore. She takes great pride in her property and it shows! She thinks of everything you may need or want. It was so peaceful having our coffee every morning sitting by the corner windows and looking out at the water and then sitting on our own deck/dock area that was just for our use in the afternoons. We will definitely be returning and wished we didn’t ever have to leave.

Why they chose this property

This second floor apartment is easy to find just 3 miles off the first exit over the toll bridge just past state park where you can launch your boat and store your trailer. The water is warmer than the main channel to swim in and safer as there is very little boat traffic. Stores are close by and there are three restaurants on the island that are favored by many in the 1,000 Islands area. Golfing and fishing at its best in the 1.000 Islands. Very clean comfortable property no pets have ever stayed if you have allergies. 25 foot dock, gas grill. 4 people max.
