You'll see an amazing brick fireplace almost immediately upon walking in the door, and you'll be hard-pressed not to start a fire right away to enjoy as you curl up in the cozy living room. A flat-screen cable TV with Blu-ray player offers plenty of entertainment, but you'll be drawn first and foremost to the big windows displaying gorgeous views of the surrounding scenery.

A large farmhouse dining table gives you plenty of room to gather everyone for a hearty meal after a long day on the slopes or waterskiing on the lake, while the kitchen is fully equipped to provide every convenience you need to create mouth-watering meals.

Step out through the French doors to the back porch to enjoy a cup of coffee outside in the early morning - you'll feel like you've truly gotten away from it all.

Down the hall, you'll find 3 bedrooms with plenty of space to spread out. The primary bedroom features an impressively comfortable California king, a flat-screen cable TV with Blu-ray player, as well as its own en-suite bathroom with a separate vanity. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds along with plenty of storage for everyone, while the third is perfect for children, with 2 twin beds.

Good house...great location

Our group really enjoyed the location of this property and the house overall. Being so close to the lake was awesome and the neighborhood was really friendly. I would rent here again next trip to Tahoe.

filthy-had to wash all sheets- waiting for refund on cleaning fee

when we got to the house the hamper was full of dirty towels and all the sheets were dirty. the kitchen was dirty- stove and microwave filthy and burst can of soda all over the freezer. I called Jerry, the owner's son and contact for evolve- he said he couldn't believe the maids did not show up and he lives out of state so I need to do it myself and I would be given a refund of the $290 cleaning fee. I spent several hours our first afternoon doing sheets, making the beds, cleaning kitchen and bathroom. Mid week I called Evolve to find out if I was refunded. On hold 40 min- left call back number. jerry called back and said his mom would mail me a refund check - give it a few days. I still have not received it. I may have to dispute with credit card company- all of this is huge pain and time consuming. In one bathroom there is no fan or window. the house is dark and dated, not all blankets fit the beds, but otherwise was a great location for us and met the needs for our group. we had fun playing ping pong in the garage and there are bikes in the garage ( not all the brakes work so have to be careful) and we biked along trail.

Tahoe wedding

Arrived at 4 pm- house dirty- housekeepers did not show up. Called property manager ho did not know housekeeping failure. Had to wash all the dirty sheets and towels, clean 2 bathrooms and kitchen, sanitized all surfaces, seep floors, vacuumed. Property manager stated he will refund cleaning fee and one nights rent. Took pictures to submit to him. Red carpets frayed in several places, paint flaking. Woodwork and walls dirt. Doubt place has had ANY deep cleaning in year.

We reserved this house for my 60th birthday so I was very excited the house is plenty big it has everything you need the kitchen is stocked completely the yard was huge for the grandkids to run around three blocks from the lake which was awesome I spoke to the owner myself he’s a wonderful person who told me if I have any problems any concerns please call him immediately, it’s sad to think that because he lives in the bay area and he hires a cleaning company out of Lake Tahoe that he’s not really around to check their work, Merry maids is the company that he hired and they know better than to clean much better than what they are doing very disappointing. But I did call the owner and he made things right which I didn’t expect any less from him shame on Merry maids they know that he cannot be checking up on them and actually she should not have to check up on them they know their jobs and they should be doing it better. But besides that this is a awesome place to stay close to restaurants and stores in entertainment just a wonderful house.

Absolutely great location but need to focus on cleaning

It was absolutely great location, 3 blocks away from the lake, the backyard is huge and basically the place is big and we have enough bed for all of us. The major concern is cleaning. When we arrived there’s still left over foods and drinks in the fridge not so sure how long its been there. The living room couches and carpets are so dusty and dirty if you walk with barefoot expect that you will have a black feet because of dirt. There is some dust coming out in the heater too and causing us to have a cough the next day. Overall we have a quiet stay and we are hoping that they will focus on cleaning so they can get a good review.

Great location but needs to be cleaned

We stayed in this house for a few days in January. The location was great and house was nicely set up. However, the house was very dirty. The kitchen counters were dirty and utensils had been put away dirty (cheese grater still had cheese on it). The vacuum was broken so it was hard to clean up after ourselves.There was a solo cup left over from a previous guest sitting on a bookcase. Both bathrooms had shower doors that were off its tracks and the towel holders were broken. The beds had very cheap linens on them and we found a dirty sock in one of the twin beds that our son was sleeping in :( The dresser in the room with the two twin beds was broken and there was a dirty sock in there as well. Again, we loved the location of the house but unfortunately, it is not being cleaned properly and felt very dirty to be in. I emailed the owner about this when we were at the house but didn't hear back.

Property Needs Maintenance

Pros: • The house is big and offers plenty of living space. • Family enjoyed eating on the big farm dining table. • Close to everything. A 5 min walk to the lake. Small nearby shops. 5 or less minutes away from Safeway. 10 minutes from Heavenly Village. • Pool table to entertain the whole family. • Fast WiFi. Cons: • Broken dishwasher. The dishwasher door is broken and doesn’t stay; bottom rack doesn’t stay on the rail and is hard to load and unload dishes; when we first used the dishwasher it smelt like vinegar; doesn’t drain properly. • Dishes, utensils and pots/pans in the cupboards were dirty and not washed. • Rental ad mentions a 3rd TV in the bedroom with the 2 twin beds. There is no TV. • Towels don’t smell clean. • Stains on some of the blankets. • Channels that are available on the TV in the living room are not available on the TV in the master bedroom. • No code provided for bike lock in garage. • Fireplace had leftover ash and leftover food in the refrigerator from the previous renter, even though clean up instructions call out to clean the fireplace & to empty the refrigerator before leaving property. Cleaning crew failed to clean these two things. • Mold on the bathroom ceilings. • Towel rack on the sliding bathtub door was broken. • Instead of fixing broken bathroom sliding door, owners installed a curtain. I emailed the property owners a week ago about the above issues and have not heard back from them. The license issued to the owners to rent out their property posted on their wall expired in 2016. My family and I paid a good amount of money for cleaning for only an hour’s worth of work and a good amount of money for a property that is not well maintained.

Clean house. Owner seemed very responsible. Did not like that the bedrooms did not have working wall switches. Less than great qualities in the house. Really enjoyed the ping pong table in the home and location of the house in SLT.

Our stay was very good, it was comfortable, kitchen had all the utensils, nice beds, four blocks from lake, ping pong table, bbq etc everything was simply great. We were group of 8 and loved our stay, a big living room, three bed room, nice garage, not far from safeway.

Prime location right off 50. Ridiculously close to the lake. Comfortably sleeps 10. Large open living room and dining room, which is ideal for a large group to have a good time hanging out at the cabin.

Pros: - amazing location (lake and heavenly) - fully supplied kitchen - laundry, iron, tv, internet - very homely atmosphere - open dining room/living room, fireplace - comfortable beds - garage Cons: - bathroom door didn't work well - bedrooms were always more chilly - no scissors or toilet paper Overall, Would definitely recommend this location to a friend! 4th of July Rental

I stayed at this rental home for the week of the 4th - 2015. My group included 3 couples (6 people total) and this home accommodated our group comfortably. The location was great, walking distance to many local attractions. We even walked down to the beach for the fireworks show which was incredibly convenient considering the whole area is like a parking lot after the show ends. I consider this place great bang for the buck.

Perfect family getaway :)

This house is perfect for a family getaway. The house was the perfect size for my family of 4 which we have 2 children under 4 years old & we brought grandparents too. The yard is amazing for the children to play in and grown ups to sit out and relax. Also it is in walking distance to the beach and yummy places to eat at. The owner is really friendly and we are definitly going to go stay again in the future

Location, Location, Location

This house is in the perfect location. Took many walks around the area. Bagel Shop, Taco Shop and my 5 yr old Grandson favorite Sprouts- all just down the street. Walking along the Lake was beautiful. House was clean and had all the supplies needed. My family has rented many different houses in South Lake Tahoe, this one was perfect for the size of our group (6 adults and 3 kids)and the cookware was fabulous (that does make a difference when your staying for 7 days and love to cook) Beds were comfy and of course Jerry was easy to work with. ... looking forward to our next visit alreay

Long time renter

I have stayed at this home for over 30 years through all different seasons. The owner and Her Family have take great care of the home and it offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay at any time of the year. The house is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe, Close to the lake, Heavenly Ski Resort and many other Summer and Winter activities. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this home.
