Create memories while you stay at Lakeview Forest, a 3000 sq ft luxury home with 4 bedrooms (2 master suites), 3-1/2 baths and a game room. Hot Tub arriving end of March
The house is located 2 miles from beaches, 3 miles from skiing and casinos.
RECOMMENDED AGE OF 35 and up to rent this home.
There are 3 parking spots available to renters. One in garage, 2 in the driveway. City will fine renter if more then three cars are parked at the home.

Lakeview Forest has top of the line features including beautiful hardwood floors, gas fireplace, new furnishings, linens and towels, pool table/ping pong table, 2 large screen TV's and free WiFi. Kitchen/Dining Room is fully stocked. Dining room table seats 10 (there is also seating for 3 at the island counter). Granite counter tops, gas range, refrigerator with ice maker/water dispenser, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender.
Bedrooms consist of 2 Cal King Beds, 1 Queen Bed and Bunk Beds (Full on top and full on bottom), TV's in both master bedrooms. Enjoy vacationing on a quiet street that backs up to a nature reserve! You will enjoy beautiful views and can access bike and hiking trails right outside the backyard!! (Bikes and sleds are in the garage for your use).
Life doesn't get any better than this location to just get away and relax! Schedule your vacation and create memories of a lifetime at the Lakeview Forest home. Please be aware we do not rent to anyone having parties or gatherings. This is a quiet neighborhood with strict noise rules from the city. We are required to have a noise decimal reader in the home that has a 24 hour monitoring station. If noise is exceeded this will be in violation of the agreement and leaving premises without refund will be required.
Here are city ordinances to be aware of (I do not want you to get fined):
NO PARKING ON THE STREET AT ANYTIME
NO EXCESSIVE NOISE BETWEEN 10PM-8AM
NO MORE THAN 8 ADULTS (are considered age 14 and up) and 5 Children (age 13 and under) in the house at any given time.

This property exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend it. We went to celebrate my boyfriend‘s birthday with his family and we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a beautiful upscale home with appliances and everything you need in it. The views from the back are spectacular with fantastic hiking trails. The game rooms and the family room equipped with everything you could possibly need an upgraded rooms were fantastic. We would definitely come back. Homeowner Anita was very responsive both before and during our stay with any questions we had.

Great Experience, great home that was perfect for our family. We traveled with another couple and their child, along with our family of four, and it was awesome. Home was clean, great floor plan, two master suites, and plenty of space for the three boys to have the time of their lives. I would highly recommended the home, the service of the host was stellar. From booking till the end she was available and responsive to all our questions and requests.She even agreed to our late check out, even though I requested a night before. We had a great stay at this home. The family room was cozy yet very spacious, making it perfect for relaxing together. The bathrooms were large and well equipped, and having an attached laundry in the upstairs master bathroom was super convenient. The open backyard was a big hit, especially for playing in the snow.The game room was awesome and gave us plenty of fun family time in the evenings. The home felt comfortable, warm, and thoughtfully set up for families. The location was also ideal, quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to do in Tahoe.Anita is an excellent host, very accessible, and truly on top of everything. She checked in to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which was a nice gesture. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing and fun family getaway.

Beautiful, clean home with comfortable beds

Eight of us came to Heavenly for a ski vacation. The home is about four miles from the closest lift, but drop off was easy. If you are looking for easy access to the slopes this might not be the home. However, We were not concerned with the short drive and this home checked all of the other boxes. The kitchen was well equipped (as long as you are okay with drinking wine out of water glasses!)and we ate most of our off hill meals at home. The grill works great. The table could accommodate the whole group. The gas fireplace added a nice ambiance. We had lot of fun playing ping pong in the downstairs game room. We never got around to using the jacuzzi, but that would have been a nice option apres ski. We had a couple insignificant issues with the home and Anita was very quick to respond and resolve. Very attentive and helpful homeowner. We asked for a later checkout and she gave us a couple more hours. All in all, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Thank you for your comment, it is sad about the wine glasses. I have repeatedly bought glass wine glasses, those were continually broke so I tried plastic. The plastic ones were put in the dishwasher and they looked horrible (not the quality of the home). Plastic in the dishwasher causes cracks. So, now I have some silicone wine glasses that are going up there this weekend. I hope that these will make the guests happy.

We had a wonderful stay at this property for 3 nights at the end of March. This was our second stay at this property. Our multi-generational family of ten (six adults and four children) all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The game room provided hours of entertainment for ping-pong and pool tournaments. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We had many cooks helping and it never felt over crowded. I enjoyed waking up and having my coffee or tea on the patio each morning and taking in the surrounding nature. The forest behind the property is picturesque. We even went on a small walk one day and used the walking sticks that were provided in the garage. The hot tub was installed during our visit and we were able to enjoy it on our last night. We had only one minor inconvenience when the hot water did not work for a couple hours during the installation. Anita, the host, was helpful and prompt in communication and was able to answer the questions I had. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

Dream getaway

We were a group of middle school friends getting together for my husband’s BIG 50. This house provided for a perfect getaway. The location was amazing ( allowed for people and wildlife watching.) Perfect Family Property

Had a great stay with family. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, linens are soft. Home was clean and spacious. There are walking trails behind the house that look out over a meadow and the lake. Be careful for bears, we did stumble upon one. Would definitely stay here again. I’m sure it’s beautiful in winter.

Relaxing experience

We really enjoyed our stay. The location in a quiet neighborhood was perfect. There is access to walking/biking trails and we took advantage of the bikes available at this property. The owners have the house fully furnished and appointed to accommodate nearly any need that you have.

Exceeded our expectations

Exceeded our expectations. The home was lovelier and cozier than we expected, the view out of the backyard into the forest was calming and beautiful. Everything was at least as nice as it was described and the owners were very hospitable and available for our questions. Our boys loved the play room including a pool table, ping-pong table, and their own TV. We will definitely stay here again as it was clean, with a great floor plan and perfect for our family.

Gorgeous house, unreasonable host

The Host: Interacting with the host was stressful and frustrating. Months after I had booked and paid in full I received threatening messages that my trip would be canceled if I didn't sign additional contracts. It felt weird that she sent the contract to my email instead of through the VRBO site. She also called me repeatedly during my workday from a number I didn't recognize. On the contract she required me to add the full names and ages of every person who would be on the trip along with a copy of my drivers license to prove my age. I have never been asked to disclose names and ages of guests. I would think that the VRBO terms and conditions protect both the host and the renter so additional contracts are not needed. She also sent the contract as a word document, which to me is not professional compared to a docusign or pdf. She made me convert the file to sign it by her deadline. I also received several notes of all the different fees we would be required to pay if we didn't do clean up activities or were loud. We were required to strip the sheets, wash the dishes and put them away, take out the trash, etc. This would be fine if we weren't also required to pay a cleaning fee. Lastly, for some reason it's called out that there is toilet paper in every bathroom as an amenity, but in reality there was one roll per bathroom, so we had to go buy our own toilet paper which I've never had to do. The House: The house was stunning and a perfect place to gather. The open concept upstairs is very spacious and allows people to chat easily whether they are in the kitchen, the large dining table, or the couches. The beds were comfortable and the views from the windows were lovely. The backyard is a beautiful set of trees with frozen marsh that provides a great place to walk. This is a 10 minute drive to the lifts and was a great location for us. The bedrooms are in three areas of the house which is convenient for people waking up early to not disturb others. If you are into pool, then the downstairs game room is great, otherwise the size of the table doesn't really allow for anything else in that room besides pool and table tennis.

Wonderful Place for families!

This house was perfect for our two families with young children. With the open floor plan and most everything on the second level, we were able to keep an eye on the little ones and enjoy cooking and doing activities together. We were able to put them to bed and enjoy the game room at night. Having two master bedrooms is a plus as well. The house was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We also loved the backyard as we were able to go out and explore. I am sure it looks amazing in the wintertime! The location was close to downtown so it was easy to get everywhere. We would definitely stay there again.

Why they chose this property

Lakeview Forest is centrally located, but yet quiet. We love that there are no houses built behind us and you can just enjoy the pine trees.

What makes this property unique

Our game room has a pool table/ping pong table, as well as a big screen TV. Two master bedrooms both with Cal King beds. TV's in Master bedrooms, Family room and game room.
Living quarters is upstairs.
