If you're looking for rest and relaxation in a beach paradise that's off the beaten path, boutique and luxurious, look no further.

Welcome to this beautiful two-bedroom, full two-bathroom beach getaway located in the exclusive Sublime Samana Hotel, a Small Luxury Hotel that offers full amenities such as world class spa services, gym, a beach restaurant, bistro and recreational equipment for countless ocean activities. This ground floor home, is baby friendly and wheelchair accesible with a spacious 1600 square feet (153 square meters) and a fully equipped kitchen; an outside terrace with jacuzzi (we do our best, but cannot guarantee hot water); garden and pool views; cable, smart TV and wireless internet. The apartment has everything you need to be completely comfortable during your stay.

A unique attribute of this property is that guests have full access to hotel services and amenities, including daily maid service (additional fee payable directly to the hotel) and free beach equipment rentals, beach towels, chairs and kids toys. Guests can rely on the gracious and friendly hotel staff to order room service, book spa treatments and tours and ask for any assistance during their stay. The property also has a tennis and basketball court, adults-only pool and lounge/bar, kids playground, spa services and two onsite restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The apartment has energy efficient A/C units; guests are encouraged to turn off the A/C whenever they are not in the home and to keep windows and doors closed when the A/C is on. Sublime Samana also started a recycling program, and guests are encouraged to separate plastic, glass, paper and organics.

There are two dining areas: the breakfast bar inside and the 6 person table on the outside terrace. The Living Room seats up to 6 people comfortably and is perfectly set-up for entertaining, with a flat screen TV and blue tooth speaker.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, smart TV, closet space, en-suite bathroom and terrace access. The second bedroom has two queen beds, smart TV, an en-suite bathroom and also has terrace access. Every room has A/C and ceiling fans.

The rental includes check-in and check-out cleaning service, and additional services such as laundry, dry cleaning and meal preparation in the apartment can be arranged directly through the reception at an additional cost.

Amazing! Relaxing and fun!

My family of four had one of our most memorable vacations, thanks not only to the beauty of the location, amenities, and superior service of the resort, but in large part to the meticulous planning and attention to detail that Sofia and Smeldy offer. The unit in the Sublime resort is impeccable. It is tastefully decorated, spacious, and fully equipped so you can just unpack and start relaxing. The place has good wi-fi, kitchen has everything you need, the living room is stocked with entertainment options (TVs in every room), the bedrooms are cozy, bathrooms have good bath products, etc. The private terrace is wonderful to setup breakfast and home-cooked meals or to lounge in the hot tub. Sofia and Smeldy were on call at any given time to answer questions and guide us if we needed. The unit is also carefully cleaned and maintained by Chala, who is incredibly friendly and helpful. She is flexible about times to do housekeeping, and you can arrange for her to help shop for groceries, do laundry, and even cook authentic Dominican fare in your vacation home! The Sublime resort itself is gorgeous. It offers everything you may need, including restaurants, pools, water sport equipment, spa treatments, etc., yet is quiet and not overwhelming in size. The staff provide highest quality of service and attention. The guests and other residents all seem very respectful and friendly as well. Our kids loved that there was outdoor movie night, plenty of pools to swim in, not to mention a quasi-private beach for great adventures. A short walk along the beach and you also find great restaurant shacks along the sand worth a stop. Las Terrenas is a breathtaking destination, with gorgeous sandy beaches lined with palm trees and mangroves, high quality restaurants (many run by emigrated French restaurateurs), cute shops, every imaginable water sport available (diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, paddle-boarding, etc.), and plenty of hiking destinations. We went on horseback excursions, dove into swimming holes, and showered under waterfalls. In all, I fully recommend, without reservation.

Great getaway in Playa Coson!

The unit is beautiful, spotless, and comfortable and had what we needed for a great weekend. The owners were flexible and communicative. The complex is also really beautiful, well taken care off, and relaxing. And the staff is responsive and friendly. The two notes I have have more to do with the area than the property. 1) the beach right in front where the beach seating is a bit rocky (if you go to the left the sand gets nice and soft, but you have no provided seating) 2) the restaurant at Sublime is on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in the area.

Slice of heaven on earth

This property is extremely clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The layout of the apartment is very spacious, as a family, we made good use of the grill and the hot tub on the patio. As owners, Smeldy and Sofia are very accommodating, Chala the home maid, takes good care of the kitchen and makes sure everything is in order. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel lives to its name. The beach is immaculate, beautiful golden sand, calm water and just steps away from the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment to the most demanding traveler.

Probably the best vacation I have ever had !!!

The property was amazing , 2 large rooms with 2 queen size beds. great size bathrooms nice outdoor space and great amenities ( BBQ grill and hot tub). The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the beach. Also has 2 large pools right outside from the apartment. The apartment and service were amazing. The staff was always available and helpful. In addition , the place is kids friendly. I highly recommend this place. Definitely one of my best vacations ever !!!

The Condo was attractive, well maintained and the property, swimming pools and beach area exceeded our expectations. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The on site restaurants provide good service but the food is only of average quality. The breakfast restaurant menu exceeded the quality of the beachside restaurant. We would definitely recommend this property to family or friends. The owner provided excellent service and promptly answered all of our questions. For future visits or longer stays, information regarding places to shop for groceries would be helpful.

A new family tradition!

This past April, my family and me spent our vacations on Sofia and Smeldy’s property in Sublime Samana. Sofia’s attention and effort to accommodate even our smallest requests confirmed to us that we had made the right decision. It wasn’t the first time that we had been visiting the magnificently cared for installations of Sublime Samana. From the Spa (we recommend the coconut whisper treatment), its multiple pools, the beautiful Coson beach and the staff’s service, this place is simply perfect. But the best of all was the comfort and the services on Sofia and Smeldy’s property. Located on the first floor and at a perfect distance from the entrance it’s ideal for kids. With two rooms and three super spacious beds, it can house the whole family and still offer an intimate space for each one. I loved the terrace, with a view to the beautiful garden. Another magnificent detail was the Jacuzzi, which we definitely enjoyed when we didn’t feel like going out. But the best part of our visit was Chala. This assistant not only kept every space in order, but is also available to cook authentic Dominican dishes from the highest level. Her disposition and guidance are definitely a plus, especially if it’s your first visit. I couldn’t recommend more Sofia and Smeldy’s property. Visiting them will be a new tradition in our family.

Amazing stay in las Terrenas

We stayed for a week at Sofia and Smeldy’s place in late February. It is a wonderful two-bedroom unit, full of light, very kid-friendly (we traveled with a one year old and a 4 year old), with lots of closet space and located in one of the nicest hotels in Las Terrenas. This was our second visit to Las Terrenas and the experience was outstanding. RESIDENCE. It is in the first floor, a must for us given that we stayed with kids. The kitchen has everything: oven, coffee makers, blender, pots and pans, etc. If your choose to cook at home, everything is there. The terrace is very nice and the jacuzzi is large. Bedrooms are huge, and the TV in the living room has ChromeCast, which helped to keep kids entertained in the evening. Chala, the housekeeper, kept the apartment neat and organized (not easy with kids around). The owner, Smeldy checked on us to see that everything was well and provided excellent advice about restaurants and places to visit. HOTEL. Sublime Samana is a dream place, hotel was half-full during the weekend but during the weekdays, we had it pretty much to ourselves. The pools are really nice and the canals that connect the 2 pools are perfect for little kids. The service is impeccable. We took advantage of the nanny service to have a couple of adults-only nights and it worked out great (the hotel-recommended nanny was punctual and her services reasonably priced). When we arrived, the hotel had put in place a little crib for our one year old. The food at the two restaurants was high quality and on the fancy side. However, if you have a long stay you can get bored with the somewhat limited menu, so it is advisable to explore around; there are plenty of good restaurants in Las Terrenas. The COSON BEACH, on which the hotel is located, is amazing. The sea at the hotel can be a bit rough for little kids, but if you walk for just 5 minutes to the left, it becomes very calm. The same happens if you walk a mile and a half to the right (or drive 10 minutes), where you find Punta Bonita (our favorite in las Terrenas), where the sea is always calm like in a pool. Even more impressive is the fact that the beach runs uninterrupted for over 6 miles (10k), and Sublime Samana is one of maybe a dozen small hotels on the beach (the neighboring Windham is the sole exception, but even that is not too Punta Cana big). So it's easy to have the beach all to yourself, have a long leisurely evening stroll, or run 10 miles as part of a marathon training!

Why they chose this property

Our property is special and very dear to us. We fell in love with Sublime Samaná on Cosón Beach in 2013, when the property was recently opened. We frequented as hotel guests and then married at Sublime in 2016 and purchased our condo shortly thereafter.

We've experienced Sublime as guests, event organizers and now as property owners and can only speak wonders regarding property administrators and owners. The place is beyond beautiful with perfectly manicured gardens and pools, not to mention the natural beauty, with beach and ocean views and the backdrop of the mountains, Sublime is truly a unique Caribbean escape.

What makes this property unique

Sublime is an exclusive, luxurious and unique destination because of its peace and quiet, perfectly kept landscape, amenities (restaurants, spa services, tennis courts and playground), the friendly staff and impeccable service. Even when the property is at full capacity you still feel like you have the entire place to yourself. Our guests are received and treated just like Sublime Samaná hotel guests, providing access to hotel services and amenities (some at an additional cost).

Our property is a romantic escape and also family friendly, offering a kid's playground and plenty of recreational beach activities like boogie boards, kayaks, bikes and sand toys. The pools are perfect for children offering an expansive shallow-end for babies and toddlers. The crystal blue ocean water, kilometers of contiguous beachfront also makes this a perfect escape for the active couple, family and adventurer who like to take jogs or walks along the beach.

You can walk along the beach West (10 minutes) to a unique beach restaurants for authentic rustic Dominican faire or East to Bahia Coson (10 minutes) or Playa Bonita (45 minutes), for a boardwalk filled with different restaurant offerings and recreational activities.
