Nicely appointed and clean lodging. It was a great set up for a 4 day fishing trip based out of Livingston. Easy walking to downtown. Plenty of parking. I would rebook without hesitation or reservation.
The property is located in a quiet neighborhood near the Sacajawea Park
It is clean and nicely appointed. We were able to use it as a jumping off point to explore this part of Montana, and Yellowstone
The property was lovely and was in a prime location. Walking distance to several coffee shops and wonderful restaurants. Sacajawea Park was also very close and is now my favorite park with the Yellowstone River running right through it. The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!
Very good but thought landscaping could use some loving care, had a back garden with lovely flowers and lots of weeds, could have been a nice place to sit.

Hello Caroline,
I am truly confused by what you write. To be honest all of our interactions have been extremely confusing. I have had this rental for more that 12 years and many many people have stayed here. Through VRBO, airBnb and direct bookings. You are the first guest I have ever had this negative of an experience with and not just once, time and time again.
First you show up a day early and just let yourself in, never happened before. It was pretty clear the place had not been Covid cleaned at that time. You spend the night without contacting me and inquiring why it has not been cleaned or bother to check your booking dates. When my cleaning lady shows up the next morning all of your person items are spread around the house and you are not there. When I contact you, you act confused about the dates. I make it abundantly clear to you are a day early and your check time is 4pm. You ask to finish your breakfast with your brother down the block. We agree that you will make it back to the property within less than an hour and remove your personal items so it can be cleaned. I really respect and honor my dear cleaning lady and having your items spread out prevent her from doing her work. I ask her to clean the outside for an hour. More than two hours later you are still not back. You broke your word and are just plain disrespectful to people who are trying to do their job during Covid times. Not to mention it goes completely against how I run my business. I pride myself on treating others the way I want to be treated and that very much includes my cleaning lady.
To put the cherry on the cake you now write that there are weeds in a backyard of the neighbor as if it was part of the rental property. It was clearly not part of the place you were renting. The images on VRBO show what you rent. As you can see on the pictures there is a patio area with a table and chairs and umbrella surround by 5 extra large flowerpots with $1,500 worth of freshly planted flowers to enjoy as well as a large back yard with a hammock and benches. And all you can write about are the weeds of the neighbors? There was a very large pile of fire wood clearly marking the property line. I do not think you would climb over the wood pile to go sit on the weed patch of the neighbors?
This has been the most negative experience of my who career as a hostess. I would not rent to you again.
We spent a week in this lovely European decor home . Any small issue was immediately addressed by the owner. Great private patio. Overall it made for a pleasurable get away to beautiful Montana.
This place is perfect. Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, comfy living room, pleasant outdoor area. We had 2 questions while there and our host literally answered in minutes. We have relatives in Livingston and will definitely be using this VRBO again.
We were so excited when we walked in and noticed how clean and inviting this place is. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and very well appointed. Beautiful landscaping everywhere and the location made it easy to get anywhere. We’ll be back for sure!
Great stay at Base camp home in Livingston. Amazing little town with old time feel, great restaurants and shopping. The home had all amenities we needed to enjoy our vacation. Very nice neighborhood! Enjoyed morning walks. Thanks Gigi for helping us out when we forgot some items at the home as we left.
We booked this stay to attend a concert at Pine Creek and it worked perfectly. Walking to all downtown Livingston has to offer is easy. Only wish it had stopped raining long enough to enjoy the patio!

Great guesthouse!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Gigi & Ian's guest house! The accommodations were super clean and very well appointed with everything we needed. Our 5 year old son especially enjoyed the yard & play area, as well as the children's bike (which he learned to ride on 2 wheels!). The house is a terrific location for walking around Livingston - just blocks to Sacajawea Park (playground), the Yellowstone River and restaurants along Park Street. Livingston was a great "home base" for daytrips to visit Yellowstone National Park and Big Timber. We can't wait to visit again! :)
Perfect guesthouse located on the most coveted street in Livingston's historical neighborhood
We loved our stay at Gigi's place! It's located on the most coveted street in Livingston, between the river and the historic downtown area. We enjoyed our daily walks where we stopped at shoreline benches to munch on our sandwiches for lunch while being mesmerized by the sounds of the rapids from the Yellowstone River. Also appreciated being able to walk downtown to so many good restaurants for dinner. The apartment is very clean with a fully stocked contemporary European style kitchen. We really liked hanging out on the back porch for breakfast and for a glass of wine in the evening. The most astonishing thing for us was how quiet the neighborhood is! We will definitely come back!

Cute Livingston Apartment
Gigi’s apartment worked out great for our family. We had a few nights in Livingston before heading home from our big Montana trip.
We walked to restaurants, shopping, and the theatre. We walked to Sacagewea Park too! Super easy location to everything.
The kids had a ball- the apartment was set up with games and Gigi let them use all the fun playground equipment in her yard.
The pictures really don’t do the apartment justice- it is tastefully furnished and very light and airy. Spa-style bathrooms.
No TV, AC, or laundry. Not that we needed it- we had WiFi, great weather, and a neighborhood laundromat.

Hi Laura,
Thank you for the nice review.
So sorry we were not aware that you needed to use the washer and dryer. They are located in the garage.
Safe travels back home.
Gigi's place was terrific and included everything we needed to make out stay a pleasant one. Unlike every other place we have stayed, including 5 star hotels, and as silly as it may sound, finding that the bathrooms with good toilet paper, akin to Charmin Ultra Soft, was a bonus. We would recommend this property to anyone.
The house was decorated in such a lovely way, beds were comfortable and the house was clean and spotless. The host was wonderful. We enjoyed riding the bikes down to the farmers market, and the proximity of the house to Yellowstone and Bozeman.
This house was really amazing, it had a very “Swedish” feel with a more open floor plan downstairs, natural light in the upstairs bathroom and hip European fixtures throughout. Wood burning stove really brought the place together would love to stay again.

Beautiful area
Our family had a wonderful time in Livingston. The rental was in a great location, nice, clean and quiet. Our daughter loved the bunk bed. Downtown and the park are within easy walking distance.
Gigi and Ian gave us great suggestions on places to eat and do. The scenic float on Yellowstone River recommendation was excellent.

Simply outstanding. Even better than we ever imagined.
Gigi & Ian were incredible hosts. The guest house was exactly as advertised, it was better than advertised. Comfortable, super-clean, well furnished. We woke up each morning, walked just a couple of blocks to the Sacagawea Park & the Yellowstone River. Then, just a few blocks walk, we were in downtown Livingston and locating one of the restaurants they recommended for breakfast. We were there for The Hoot, and Gigi made sure we had portable chairs to take to the concert, they had 2 bikes for us to use, too. Wifi at the house worked well, however, it was nice to be "unplugged" for the week! The neighborhood is gorgeous, historic homes, charming and unique. Neighbors and people in town were as friendly as Gigi & Ian. Spent a lazy few hours, one afternoon, on the hammock under the aspen trees. The terrace off the main bedroom was great for star gazing at night. Incredible sky, perfect weather and wonderful lodging. I can't say enough about how comfortable and enjoyable this guest home made our trip. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! We will be back next year, for sure! And, I know I've likely found a few more occupants for next spring and summer, I've been spreading the word about the home and the town on Livingston.
Thank you, Denise & Randal - Blue Springs MO (Kansas City MO Suburb)

Excellent "Home Away From Home"
My family and I very much enjoyed our time in Livingston and renting this adorable home was the best decision! It was located in a beautiful and convenient location of town which afforded us the opportunity to walk to restaurants, shopping and the park. The owners were an excellent resource for our travels and made us feel right at home. The kids loved playing on the swings and slide in the fenced yard. The home was well-appointed,exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We will be back!

Great location, neat rental!
The location of this rental is absolutely amazing, just a few blocks from historic downtown Livingston and other great local attractions. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and it was a great spot for us. We grilled out quite a bit and enjoyed the lovely backyard and patio area. The kitchen is very well equipped which we very much appreciated. The space was very clean, modern and bright. We had everything we needed. Clearly the owners have put a lot of thought into their rental being a great place to stay!
