The Space:

Soft light glints off Douglas Lake as you step onto the wrap‑around porch, and the gentle mountain air carries the scent of pine through the cabin. Mornings invite you to linger over coffee while the water shimmers, and evenings wrap you in the glow of the indoor fireplace or the steam of the hot tub under a starlit sky. With the Smoky Mountains just a short drive away, you can balance quiet lake moments with outdoor adventure whenever you choose.

Sleeping arrangements

One king bedroom on the main level offers an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Two queen‑over‑queen bunk rooms sit on the second level, and a shared full bathroom serves those rooms. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room adds flexibility, while a half bathroom on the main level provides extra convenience.

Indoor living

Smart TVs are placed in each bedroom and the living room for easy entertainment. A private arcade cabinet, a Big Buck Shooter arcade, a multicade gaming unit, and a foosball table keep guests of all ages engaged. Board games, high‑speed wifi, and a dedicated workspace round out a comfortable indoor retreat.

Kitchen & dining

The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a hearty dinner. A gas BBQ grill is available for outdoor cooking, and dining spaces inside and on the porch let you enjoy meals with lake views or under the canopy of trees.

Outdoor living

Eight private acres surround the cabin, and a double‑decker dock with a sun deck, swim platform, and covered boat slip brings you steps from the water when levels are up (mid‑Sept to mid‑Apr). A fire pit offers a cozy spot for cooler‑season evenings, and the hot tub provides soothing relaxation any time of year. Wrap‑around porches deliver panoramic lake scenery year‑round. The steep driveway includes a turn‑around space; 4WD may be needed when snow or ice is present.

Family‑friendly features

A pack and play and high chair are provided for small children. The home welcomes up to two dogs, and laundry amenities, fresh linens, room‑darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets ensure comfort for longer stays.

Neighborhood

We stayed 3 nights and had zero problems. The house was clean and the hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. The driveway is super steep but we got in and out just fine. And although we were bummed the lake had already been drained (early Oct), the video games, foosball table, hot tub, and fishing poles were a great plus! Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to make home cooked meals but all commercial shops/restaurants were about 30 mins away if needed. Morning views are amazing!

Our stay was fantastic! Even better then what we imagined, our host was so polite and welcoming, he was very quick to respond to any and all questions that we had. He went even went a step furher to make sure he looked into situation at hand to give me as much information as possible. Which we were very grateful. As far as the cabin, the cabin was so comfortable for all 6 of us. Very open layout with lots of family games. As far as the lake, unfortunately when we arrived it was the time of year that the lake is pumped out so the lake was completely dry. But still so beautiful! Thanks again will be coming back next time we head to Tennessee.

This house has everything you need

The drive was easy once we tackled the steep driveway for the first time. Such an easy check in. Very clean home. Comfortable beds. The Pac Man table video game was a hit with my sons. We do wish the hunting arcade game that was shown in the online listing pictures was working. The hot tub was nice once we balanced the chemicals in it as the PH was really high and there was no chlorine / bromine tablets in the dispenser . And although this is a lake house, it would be beneficial to those who book this to know when the lake levels will be high enough to enjoy the lake. We did not do our research and were not aware the area around this house would be dry because the water was just starting to be released at the dam
