Gorgeous room. Host was very responsive. We were looking for a relaxing getaway with perks we could enjoy as it was not as relaxing as hoped. Some things were out of hosts’ control, but when you pay for a nicer experience it’s hard to look past some of it. When we arrived we noticed lipstick on the top of comforter and towels laid out on top of bed for our use. No one wants to question cleanliness when staying at a rental, makes it hard not to. Secondly when using the toilet once, suddenly the tank wouldn’t fill and the toilet kept running. No staff was quickly available, so we had to stick hand on top of toilet tank (some mold around the top) to get mineral tab out of the way so tank could fill and toilet could be used. The fire alarm went off four times around 9:30 pm our first night due to a glitch. The pool near our room was closed the next day, we were told due to vandalism which is a bummer that people do things like this and out of hosts control. The coffee creamer in room had expired in 10/24 which was discovered by chunks in our coffee. The location was beautiful, but we wished it was a better experience.
