Close to Chesterman Beach. Very clean and suite had everything we needed to dine in and unwind! Beds were very comfy and hot tub was a great way to end long idyllic days on the beach and forest walks. Barbara and Daniel are great hosts! Definitely recommend Cedar Shack!

Incredibly impressed by the accommodation at the Cedar Shack, the attention to detail was amazing… the was absolutely nothing missing that we needed to make our short 3 day stay perfect!! Cedar Shack was a very clean very well-equipped rental for our family of 3. It was very close to the beach, and we would definitely stay there again. Tofino and the Pacifc Rim NP area are awesome. Great restaurant recommendations from the hosts as well!

Cedar Shack

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Close to everything we wanted to do and could hear the ocean at night which was a bonus. The little wagon to transport our belongings was very handy. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of exploring all the different beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Tofino

The Cedar Shack exceeded our expectations. We had such a fun time in Tofino on a couples surf trip. Super clean and perfect little cottage in the best location. Just across the beach is the most beautiful beach walk either direction. Will definitely be back!

Family Time in Tofino

We were so happy to finally stay at the Cedar Shack. It was just perfect for our little family. The location to the beach was fantastic. Our toddler loved playing in the sand and watching all the dogs run!

I visited Tofino in the early 80s for what was supposed to be a one-month stay. My husband, Daniel (originally from Quebec), landed in Tofino in the late '60s. We raised two wonderful daughters in Tofino who were fortunate enough to grow up and surf a towel throw from our home. We have been in the Vacation Rental business in Tofino for 20-plus years. After more than 4 decades of living in paradise, we still live the dream. We love sharing this dream with travellers worldwide and look forward to welcoming you. We love travelling, hiking, gardening, biking, walking beaches and spoiling our super awesome grandsons.I grew up in Austria and made my way to Tofino in the early '80s, planning for just a month-long stay. My husband Daniel, who’s from Quebec, first landed in Tofino back in the late '60s. We raised two amazing daughters here, and they had the chance to surf just a towel’s throw away from our home. We've been running a vacation rental business in Tofino for over 20 years now. After more than 40 years in this beautiful spot, we’re still living the dream. We love sharing that dream with travellers from all over and can’t wait to welcome you. In our spare time, we enjoy travelling, hiking, gardening, biking, walking along the beach, and, of course, spoiling our awesome grandsons.

The lovely gardens feature abundant natural vegetation, including 40-year-old rhododendrons, stunning azaleas, and various flowering trees and shrubs. Many have described it as a slice of heaven.
