After a day of hiking, fishing, skiing, paddle boarding, or exploring nearby Leadville, Buena Vista or Independence Pass, relax with a steaming cup of coffee by either the gas outdoor firepit or indoor gas fireplace. Take in the breathtaking views of Mount Elbert and Lost Canyon. Enjoy our 5-acre family retreat with all the comforts of home. Originally from a small town in rural PA, our family relocated to CO in 1976. This miner's cabin is original to our family. It was actually built by a local family, the Cureton's, on the Tenderfoot Placer Mining Claim.
