Discover this superb 3-bedroom waterfront gem in Onancock. This tranquil house features exquisite sunset views from covered porches on two levels of this 3 story home with lots of outdoor space. Enjoy the privacy of this Chesconessex Creek property while being just 8 minutes from the historic and fun Town of Onancock. Explore Virginia’s Eastern Shore as we are mid way between Chincoteague and Cape Charles. Exercise in the endless pool, or practice your pickleball skills on a mini practice court or in the enclosed garage; 13 foot net, paddles and balls included! The primary and guest (ensuite) bedrooms are on level 1, with the laundry area and access to the pool deck while the 3rd bedroom with twin beds in the “crow’s nest” on level 3. Kitchen, living and dining areas, and the half bath, are located on level 2. Two wraparound porches and a pool deck on the back of the house complete this lovely home with lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy! A mini pickleball court, complete with paddles and balls, is in the garage. Backyard area is fenced for convenience of bringing approved pets. We are available to answer any questions about the home, area or Eastern Shore before or during your stay at the Harbor Master!

Relaxing oasis.

Peaceful, relaxing place with wonderful waterfront views. House is spacious and well-stocked, with a large fenced yard. We enjoyed catching fish and blue crabs right from the dock and kayaking on the river. Highly recommend.

After spending the last 25 years in the mountains of Colorado, we returned to the mid-atlantic area to be close to family and the Chesapeake Bay. We bought a home in the Onancock area and quickly fell in love with the ESVA! We saw the Harbor Master listed for sale in 2024 and decided to take a closer look and the rest is history!

Why they chose this property

Chesconessex Creek offers all sorts of recreational adventures, including boating, fishing, birding and kayaking. Blue heron frequent the waterfront as do osprey and eagles.

What makes this property unique

The Harbor Master was built in 1920 and “lifted” and renovated after 2015. The original floors remain but have been beautifully finished and whimsically stained to reflect the casual, fun and unique lifestyle on the eastern shore. The sunset views are inspiring and different each day of the year.
